The film was shot on 35mm budgeted for a three day shoot. On the first day of shooting, the Mitchell camera they had spent the past few months training on blew its power supply. It would have taken three weeks to get it replaced and so the producers went and rented out a 35mm Arriflex instead and the camera ops learned how to use it on the spot. They lost almost a day of shooting.
