[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Cowboy Bebop Season 1, Episode 4, “Callisto Soul.”] The villainous Space Warriors give a whole new meaning to “putting down roots” in the live-action Netflix adaptation’s fourth installment, which is loosely based on the original’s “Gateway Shuffle.” Again, there are similarities and there are differences, but the Space Warriors translate better to screen than any of the previous antagonists — mostly because the show keeps the intriguing family dynamic among the eco-terrorists alive. Like previous installments, “Callisto Soul” involves criminals, a bounty and a quest to capture baddies for a few Woolongs. But the way the show arrives at that plot is different this time. Hunter Faye Valetine (Daniella Pineda) tracks a doctor to a ritzy gala, where she demands he get her “Identikit,” which contains her belongings from before she was cryogenically frozen. It’s always great news when a show idea we’ve been following actually starts casting; it gets us thinking that the thing might actually get made. We first told you about Occult, a pilot picked up by A&E, last fall. It’s a Michael Bay (Transformers) -produced series about an FBI occult crimes task force, centering on FBI Agent Dolan, who joins the new unit upon his return from administrative leave, so ordered after going off the deep end while investigating his wife’s disappearance.
(L-r) Morris, Lucas, Collins
Word now comes from TVLine that things are moving along in the casting department, with the most recent hire being Sarah Jane Morris (NCIS) as that missing wife. So presumably we’ll be seeing her in flashbacks, or… hmm!
She’ll be joining star Josh Lucas (Space Warriors) as Agent Dolan; Lynn Collins (John Carter) as his new partner...

There’s a great-looking family adventure headed your way on Hallmark Channel called Space Warriors, and apart from the fact that you can win a trip to Space Camp, I have a chance for you to take home the movie. No ordinary Hallmark film, this one stars Dermot Mulroney, Mira Sorvino, Josh Lucas, Thomas Horn, and Danny Glover, and in a somewhat similar vein to another film involving Space Camp, shows off the ability of kids (especially if they are geniuses, I suppose) to make a difference.
This one looks like a real treat for younger audiences, and I’ve got a BlogApp below to help you explore it, including checking out the trailer, and entering to win a trip to Space Camp. Check it out below, find out all you can about the film (which airs on Hallmark Channel May 31st), and then enter to win a copy of the Blu-Ray!

BooBoo Stewart appeared on the cover of Captivate magazine in November and gave them an exclusive interview while on the set of ‘The Twilight Saga’. He speaks of his experience being involved in such a huge franchise as ‘The Twilight Saga’, travelling the world and acting.
Cm – You are officially the youngest cover story for Captivate Magazine! You turned eighteen earlier this year. Did you do anything special to celebrate?
Bbs – Wow! I didn’t know that. It’s an honor to be the youngest cover–and not really–I spent it with my family, pretty low key
Cm – Being apart of such a huge Box Office Franchise like, The Twilight Saga, how has it changed your life for the good and the bad?
Bbs – Well it’s so far been all good–I have been all over the world, met amazing people and there are so many more opportunities for me now.
Cm – What have you learned, as a young actor, being on the set of such a huge Franchise?
Bbs – I have learned how to deal with the down time (Laughs)
Cm – How has your character developed since, Breaking Dawn Part 1? Bbs – Well I think he is still the same guy, just wants everyone to get along
Cm – Do you hang out with any of the Twilight cast outside of set?
Bbs – Not really, we are all busy in our own careers
Cm – Have you gotten used to screaming girls and over zealous fans or is it still something unfamiliar?
Bbs – (Laughs) I don’t think you really ever get used to it
Cm – What is a “fan moment” that stands out to you that you have recently experienced?
Bbs – It would be hard to single one out–the fans are so dedicated and nice, I am always amazed
Cm – Do you have any celebrity crushes of your own?
Bbs – Zooey Deschanel
Cm – Are there any directors or actors/actresses you would like to work with in the future?
Bbs – Oh yeah, a bunch directors- Paul Thomas Anderson, Chuck Russell, Michael Bay, –I just met Bryan Singer he was great. Actors -Jim Caviezel, Joaquin Phoenix, Heath Ledger if he was still alive -what a loss.
Cm – Are there any future projects you have in the works that you are liberty to speak about?
Bbs – Well I have a few films coming out this spring–White Frog, Running Deer and Space Warriors–and I am about to go into production on The Well
