Galivan Cosmo Police has no story to speak of, it was a platform shooter created during the mid eighties to cash in on the popularity of other games of its genre.
The trouble is it paled in comparison to them.
It's mediocre visuals, questionable playability and steep difficulty curve did it no favours so it was lost in a sea of games released around the same time.
I think what stands out above everything else is the games music and sound effects which was terrible even for its time. This wasn't blips and blops, and instead a series of annoying screeches and high pitch tones.
As far as retro gaming is concerned this is one of those that should be skipped over.
The Good:
Rain check?
The Bad:
Highly generic
Sound quality is awful
Steep difficulty curve
Simply not fun
Things I Learnt From This Game:
A plot would have been a good idea
