What every Pokemon wanted
nikunjkhangwal11 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is literally one of the best Pokemon episode so far. I've been watching the show since I was a kid so when all the old characters and every Pokemon of Ash appeared i broke down man. It literally gave me flashbacks of my childhood. Even Butterfree and Pidgeot who people assumed were forgotten finally got a appearance. This is enough to make a longtime fan cry. Nostalgia aside, the episode was spectacular. Amazing OST'S and yes they used multiple of them in episode to hype people up. Good animation and overall a good payoff to the series. Ash got what he worked hard for, for all these years.

best pokemon battle
neverbealone-001716 December 2022
It has anything you wanted :good music, animation, story and Memories.

I grew up with Pokémon, from the first games and the first season of the show in 1997. It literally gave me flashbacks of my childhood. Even Charizard,Bubarsaur all of they finally got a appearance. This is enough to make a longtime fan cry.

Yeah! One of the most beautiful parts of the episode was when all of Ash's Pokémon, traveling companions, and friends were shown watching his battle. Ash and Pikachu worked hard for over 25 years and finally became the best.

Thank you Ash Thank you Pikachu Thank you Pokemon. I'm glad to have met you.

Hell Yeah Baby!!

Warning: Spoilers
I've been watching Pokémon anime ever since I was a kid. I still can't believe it's been 25 years since this anime first aired in Japan. I've watched every single episode of Pokémon anime and to me this was one of the best episodes ever made. When I saw butterfree and Pideot again I almost started crying. I really thought I would never see them ever again. But hey never say never. I love pikachu didn't use z move and Leon's charizard didn't gigantamax during the last battle. It was almost if we were watching OG Pokémon. The overall performance was astonishing and full of goosebumps. My boy Ash finally becomes Pokémon master after 25 years of Journey. This still feels like a dream even now. I am so proud of Ash, Pikachu, and every Pokémon of Ash in this journey. Pikachu get the freaking job done and defeat his ultimate rival Charizard. I hope they bring back Tobias, Richie, and Vergil for a rematch against Ash.

Worth the Wait
turquoise_star_1713 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I grew up with Pokémon, from the first games and the first season of the show in 1997.

From the beginning, Ash declared his dream was to be a "Pokémon master". By defeating Leon, in a spectacular battle no less, he has officially become the world's #1 trainer after 25 years.

One great aspect of Journeys has been the reunions and cameos of characters not seen in years. This episode, aside from the battle itself, gets top marks for featuring appearances by all of his past travel companions, plus every Pokémon Ash ever owned (including the released ones like fan favourite Butterfree, Pidgeot, even Primeape whom he only had for a few episodes!)

Thank you, Pokémon, for putting the biggest smile on this old-school fan's face yesterday.

The best conclusion to Ash and Leon's battle, and a great moment for Pokemon fans everywhere.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was memorable for every Pokemon fan that has followed the journey of Ash and Pikachu. It was done right, I wanted Pikachu to be the one to go up against Charizard, and even show off his Gigantamax form again, and surprisingly, this episode delivered all of that. Pikachu easily taken out Leon's Cinderace and it was back to Leon sending out Charizard. The battle got tough for Pikachu and he had a near fainting experience. Now the scene that happens right at that moment, is what everyone enjoyed seeing: all of Ash's Pokemon, no, not just his current team, ALL his Pokemon he ever had was here. This encouraged Pikachu to get back up with newfound strength to face Charizard, and knock him out. With that, Ash was declared the World Champion.

This episode has made a great deal all over the Internet, and note that this hasn't aired in English yet, with the official Pokemon page on Facebook and YouTube announcing the win, but also spoiling English dub watchers. Hopefully like how when Pikachu got back up to face Charizard with "Aim to be a Pokemon Master", the first Japanese Pokemon opening playing, the English dub version will have the first English Pokemon opening playing, but kinda doubting that since back on Pokemon Sun and Moon, they played generic cinematic like music during the clash of Ash vs Kukui with Pikachu and Tapu Koko's Z moves clashing apart from when Type Wild played on the Japanese version. Aside from that, this episode made history and is one of the best episodes of Pokemon that starts off the conclusion of Ash and Pikachu's journey.

A Treat for Longtime Fans
gambloxxed6 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Now, I will say, Pokemon Journeys has been a generally mixed bag of reviews, but if you're willing to watch the series in its entirety, this is a must watch.

Animation was incredible second half. In light of growing productions within OLM, it seems as if they were saving budget for this episode most, and it was definitely well worth it. Over 8 animation directors worked on this. You can feel the intensity in this match.

Music was great for the most part. First half of episode, there were some reused tunes, but all of them were great. They most definitely outdo themselves with the music at the end, and I have no problems with it whatsoever.

Now, the real treat is the end. It is literally a recap of Ash's two decade long adventure, filled with hardships and glorious moments. We get to see all of Ash's friends and his Pokemon in one episode, and honestly I can't say any less.

God Pikachu

Warning: Spoilers
What a episode. No words can describe how good this episode was. Animation budget was really high. Pikachu went on to the clutch and didn't disappoint. Pikachu travelled with Ash for 25 years and showed why he is the most experienced and strongest Pokemon of Ash. Not only did he one shot cinderace. He also took down Charizard after several ups and downs. The moment where every Pokemon comes up to support Pikachu has made even grown men cry. We finally saw Ash become the Pokemon World champion. Like I said , no words can describe it. I have seen the episode like 7-9 and I still can't believe it's true.

Thank you Ash Thank you Pikachu Thank you Pokemon. I'm glad to have met you.

Pokémon has never been this good
adryeet23 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode brought so much more to the series. This being the potential end of Ash Ketchum's journey brought so much joy and emotion to any viewer. Pikachu being able to Gigantamax without a pokeball shows how far the duo have grown. When they first met Pikachu wanted nothing to do with Ash, now they're best friends who became the very best, like no one ever was. This entire episode summed up over 25 years of memories without making it feel forced to rushed. All of Ash's old friends, companions, and Pokémon appeared to show they were cheering for him and were all apart of his journey to become a Pokémon Master.

A Great Ending To Ash's Dream
agreninjax25 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
In this episode, Ash Ketchum finally achieved his dream of becoming a Pokémon Master. He was left with Pikachu while Leon had Charizard and Cinderace, this didn't stop Pikachu as he defeated both of them. Pokémon's animation hasn't been the best lately, but this episode gave fans the best animation of the series. On top of that the Pokémon animation team was understaffed, they really put a lot of work and effort into this episode. One of the most beautiful parts of the episode was when all of Ash's Pokémon, traveling companions, and friends were shown watching his battle. Ash and Pikachu worked hard for over 25 years and finally became the best.

shoryasikarwar22 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The anime has followed Ash Ketchum in his quest to become a Pokemon Master since 1997, when the character met electric mouse creature Pikachu on his 10th birthday.

But the latest series, Pokemon Ultimate Journeys, has worked differently as it has seen Ash travelling around the world, rather than being limited to one region.

Ash Ketchum has won the Pokémon World Championship! The eternally-ten year old has been trying to achieve this dream for over 25 years now, and finally on November 11th, 2022 he reached his goal. Ash set off on his epic quest in 1997 alongside his iconic partner and best friend, Pikachu.

Quite literally the best ending.
carrpollockcp29 April 2024
I think that the Pokémon anime is complete fun and action and has perfect comedy and an enticing world and amazing characters and AMAZING EVERYTHING! The thing about the world is that you're always able to imagine yourself as a Pokemon Trainer, you always want to feel like a Pokemon Trainer and there's something about that fact that's honest to god amazing.

I grew up with this show like many others, religiously watching it till this 10/10 ending. The clash between Pikachu and Charizard, the franchises big two is enthralling and beautiful. The way it's written is amazing, the absolute art that comes from this battle is intense and awe inspiring. The best episode of the show by far. The best ending to a show aswell.
