In a world where there are a lot of indie filmmakers doing it wrong, it's refreshing when it's done right.
Now, I'm not talking about film quality or tired stories etc. I'm talking about old fashioned "We actually give a shit about our fans and want them to know." It's about the little things.
Running a horror website for over seven years in the red with no steady income stream generated by the site can get quite discouraging. What makes it worse is when filmmakers and producers feel they are gracing you with their film and doing you a favor by "letting you" watch their movie's, forgetting that the professional rout is to offer a screener for review consideration.
Here at MoreHorror we try to get to as many screeners as we can, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Sometimes, there's no real incentive, just a sense of expectation,...

A few months ago, we premiered the trailer for Frankenstein Created Bikers, which had a ton of hits from fans of the upcoming film. Well, I've finally seen it, and I've got to admit that it's even more insane than the trailer lets on. Shot on 35mm after a successful Kickstarter campaign, Frankenstein is a love letter to exploitation films carved into a bullet --- and sent skyrocketing into the air after several beers on the Fourth of July at a biker rally. This exploitation-sci-fi-cult-horror film extravaganza was directed by James Bickert (it's a sequel of sorts to his flick Dear God No!) and stars Tristan Risk, Ellie Church, Jett Bryant, Laurence R. Harvey, and a cast of others. The above actors are the best of the bunch in...

This week saw the DVD release of Big World Pictures' Dear God No! - an exploitation biker grindhouse flick by James Bickert that tossed a lil' bit of Bigfoot fun into the mix. Sadly, a copy was never sent our way for review consideration. That's cool, we'll let you guys discover this indie which boasted one helluva poster. (You tell us what you thought.)
Speaking of posters, a new one-sheet for the latest film from director Bickert has arrived. His next high-octane opus is called Frankenstein Created Bikers and, once again, the poster (by Tom Hodge aka The Dude Designs) rules - I look at this image and I smell gasoline, Pbr, cigarettes and, well, a few other things... The film is currently in pre-production; we'll keep you posted when more details arrive. In the meantime, check out the official Dear God No! official site.

Check out a first "Frankenstein Created Bikers" poster which is both entertaining well-designed. The horror directed by James Bickert opens some time 2013, with a cast including Shane Morton, Paul McComiskey, Nik Morgan and John Collins. Never heard of this film, the helmer, or the cast before, and can you blame me? "Frankenstein Created Bikers" from Big World Pictures' is currently in pre-production phase and follows “Dear God No!” As far as "Dear God No!" goes, the film follows outlaw motorcycle gang The Impalers through a murder spree that ends in a home invasion gone terribly wrong when they attack two graduate students, a disgraced Anthropologist and his teenage daughter. A demonic creature in the woods, a deadly secret in the basement, rivers of blood and abundant nudity add to the surprises that are sure to thrill genre fans.
