I thought it very good

This is the story of 4 women on a military base in England. Two are the mother and wife of a soldier recently killed in Afghanistan and how they handle their grief. . One is the fiance of his commander who is trying to learn how to be a good officer's wife while dealing with 2 teen children, his daughter and her son. The last is wife of another soldier under this same commander. She is a friend of the young widow and she also befriends the commander's fiance. She seems to have the perfect marriage, and has it altogether. She is the good friend the other women lean on but but then she discoverers her husband has been cheating.

The story is good as we watch how these 4 women resolve the issues of their lives with the help of their friends. I found this on Amazon Prime and yes it is well worth watching.

Returning Vets

One of the best shows for returning vets from the two wars. Obviously, whoever wrote these plots knew the military community well. The one scene where the Major's wife quits a job because she is tired of the trivial concerns resonates with every veteran. We all come back having death with life/death issues. Then having to deal with stupid trivial concerns.

The issues here are real. Kudos to someone for caring about what veterans and their families go through. The acting is good. The dialogue is fine. Good dialogue. The plot lines make sense. It is rare to see such focus on the view of the two wars from the perspectives of the families.

Pathetic, pitiful and predictable.

This is a very silly series done in a soap opera genre. Acting is atrocious and the script just seemed to have been made up on the fly. Plot is extremely superficial and really just a lot of fluff. Seemed to be written by a high school writing class! If the creators were hoping to get subsequent seasons, it's really not hard to see why this was not the case.
