Sex & Nudity

  • Many sexual references and kissing. Additionally, "sexy" is used from time to time in the series, as well as "titty" and "boobs." Other than that, some characters wear revealing outfits.

Violence & Gore

  • Some scenes are a bit violent but nothing serious.

Profanity

  • A character says almost in every episode "up your's!" and gives "the finger" (however, pixels are utilized to cover it). "Damned," "hell," "crap," "boobs," "sexy" and "tits" are also occasionally said by various characters.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Many people drink alcoholic substances in many episodes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many episodes play with your emotions.
  • The finale is surprisingly not too intense, but it can be a bit sad for some.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The show highly deals with a difficult and confusing love vibe with Chris and Beth, it is implied and more and more sad and intense in later seasons.
  • While the first 2 seasons are pretty tame and rarely have any actual intense stuff, season 3 and 4 get more intense, depressing, and all around just thought provoking.
  • Most of what season 3 has to offer is a lot of intense moments between Chris and Beth's weird and distorted love, an intense amount of high development in Chris's emotion lord powers, and all around an intense season from start to finish.
  • Season 4 is a little tamer than season 3, but it still has some wonky and pretty thought provoking episodes.
