Did you know
- TriviaDirector Timur Bekmambetov insisted that the chariot circus be built for real, and be realized with as little computer graphics imagery as possible. He felt it was absolutely necessary, to make the chariot race look and feel realistic.
- Goofs(at around 12 mins) As Judah walks through the market, the traders are emptying baskets of chili peppers that fill the entire foreground of the shot. These peppers were introduced to the world when Diego Álvarez Chanca, a physician on Columbus' second voyage to the West Indies in 1493, brought the first chili peppers to Spain and first wrote about their medicinal effects in 1494.
- Crazy creditsThe end credits for the director, producer and department heads are animated to look like they fly across the race track, kicking up dust as if they were horse-drawn chariots.

The Story Of Redemption
A story about family, revenge and forgiveness.
Excellent cinematography, really good visuals and details. The cast is interesting and the characters are intriguing and complicated. The message of the film is that hatred never pays off, and redemption is possible.
The costume design is excellent and the film is visually impressive. The film brings a positive message of hope and redemption. The actors did a good job, embodied the characters superbly and tried to take us back to the past.
We see how different people take different paths, but in the end they meet and then decide their destinies. The story is gradually built, and in the end everything becomes clear to us.
After watching it a second time, I appreciated more the effort invested in cinematography and costume design. The details are great, they give the film an authentic look.
The carriage race is excellently directed, is really tense and exciting and contributes to the overall quality of the film.
A visually impressive film that delivers a positive message.
