Mrs. S : We didn't ask what we didn't need to know. I had the chance to legitimize a child, so I became your legal guardian. The last time I heard from Carlton, he was about to be arrested and he warned me, he begged me, to move you away, to hide you deeper. So, I left everyone I knew and I brought you and Felix here.

Helena : I dreamed that we were friends.
Sarah Manning : We're not friends.

Sarah Manning : [Sarah talks to Cosima over the computer about this being the new normal] Olivier called Paul in hours ago, and he's not picking up.
Cosima Niehaus : Well, that isn't out of the ordinary, is it?
Sarah Manning : How should I know? There's nothing normal about any of this, is there?
Cosima Niehaus : Sarah, this is the new normal, okay? So, Paul's a monitor. He reports to Olivier, his handler, right? As long as Paul is on our side, we can start to finally get some answers.
Sarah Manning : That's my point, Cosima. What if he's not on our side?

Paul Dierden : This is high-level shit, Sarah, an illegal human-cloning trial.

Sarah Manning : You're going to end up strapped to a gurney, with doctors giving you the probe.
Cosima Niehaus : I probably already have been. Can we please just get back to Helena?
Sarah Manning : You know what? Just stay out of my end, I'll stay out of yours.
Sarah Manning : [Sarah hangs up the phone] Bitch.
Cosima Niehaus : [Cosima hangs up the phone] Bitch.

Paul Dierden : I told you to run.

Olivier Duval : [Olivier in a low voice moves in on Sarah] Would you like to see it?

Sarah Manning : You know, even if he's not ratting me out in there, those medical tests could still tell him I'm not Beth.
Felix Dawkins : Cosima said they wouldn't.
Sarah Manning : Yeah, well, she's blinded by science.

Olivier Duval : Who are you?
Helena : I want to see your tail.
Helena : [Helena tackles and holds Olivier down] Now, show me the tail. Slowly.
Helena : [Olivier reveals his tail to Helena as she holds him forward] That's good. Ahh. How is this possible? Did you lie with a beast?

Sarah Manning : I guess there's a few things I should've told you.
Paul Dierden : You think?

[Dr. Leekie tells Cosima and Delphine that they should apply for jobs at the Dyad Institute]
Dr. Aldous Leekie : You could be the next Watson and Crick!
Cosima Niehaus : I'm just a geek girl from Berkeley.
Dr. Aldous Leekie : [Cosima laughs] I can tell you have a very unique perspective, Cosima. Please, you could be on the cover of Scientific American.
Cosima Niehaus : Scientific American doesn't put scientists on the cover.
Dr. Aldous Leekie : [Leekie in a low voice] Well, every rule needs to be broken.

[Sarah tells Cosima to stay away from Delphine]
Cosima Niehaus : Well, if we're going to get past our monitors, we have to engage.
Sarah Manning : Yeah, look where that got me.
Cosima Niehaus : Into bed with him?
Sarah Manning : Okay, look where it got Alison, yeah? She smoked her husband with a golf club on a hunch that he was her monitor and, now, they're away at a couple's retreat, trying to repair their marriage.
Cosima Niehaus : Okay, I'll obviously approach Delphine way more logically than that.
Sarah Manning : No, you won't.

Sarah Manning : Enough waiting. I need to know what Paul's up to. I'm going in.
Felix Dawkins : What? No! No! You can't go in there, with your recognizable mug. Besides... Clubland is my world.
Sarah Manning : [Felix pulls out a make-up bag] You carry that around with you everywhere?
Felix Dawkins : Maybe.

Sarah Manning : Yeah, so let's call it even, okay? We'll go our separate ways.

Sarah Manning : Don't worry. I won't give you up.
Cosima Niehaus : You know, maybe you should. Not to Helena, but to Olivier.
Sarah Manning : What? You were the one who said, if your blind subject suddenly became aware, you'd terminate.
Cosima Niehaus : Right, well, I'm beginning to rethink that.
Sarah Manning : Great, she's got a new hypothesis.

[Delphine shows up early to Cosima's apartment]
Cosima Niehaus : Sorry, I'm...
Delphine Cormier : Oh, I'm-I'm early?
Cosima Niehaus : No, no, no, no, I'm late, I'm late.

Cosima Niehaus : I'm kind of always late, though, so, kind of always sorry.
