'Friends round table conference typa comedy'

There came a point where I had to pause, I thought I will not be able to finish this today.

. .

. .

. Because I was laughing so hard, my stomach and cheeks were hurting.

His style of comedy feels like you are 'one of his round table conference friends' and he is telling you a story over drinks.

My biggest gripe was the ending did not land, more so there was no ending. In that term, this felt more like his longer format of YouTube video instead of standup show. The recalls also did not work for me.

But apart from these factors the show was good, he is definitely funny and it did make me laugh for the first 1hr or so.

Bassi, you're such an amazing storyteller. While this particular show was not as 'funny' as his earlier ones, it was still very engaging. You have a way with words and its magic. You made my entire family sit in front of television set and laugh hysterically. My Family could not stop listening at once. I would still suggest go and listen the whole stand up, it's definitely worth watching. Wishing him nothing but the best. You are truly great. Respect and love for you. May waheguru ji bless you with more success. Stay blessed. Always your fan. He's one of the few stand up comedians I feel is worth watching. I can't wait to see what he does next.

It surely is a masterpiece! His dialogue delivery is so powerful that you literally live the moments while he narrates these stories. His jokes are hilarious yet so relatable,we all have such unique characters in our group. He truly proved that comedy can ALSO be done without offending anyone. A very positive outlook he has towards life. He is truly a genius sharing his life stories and making such amazing content out of it. He is one of the best comedians we have in India. Cheers to you Bassi ! Looking forward to more such videos. Kudos to your genius mind. You definitely rock !!! Keep up the brilliant work ! And no I am not Sakshi 😬😜

Let's admit it that not everyone can be Zakir or Vipul in the comedy scene .

Bassi's initial YT bits were amazing which went viral and we all loved it .

BUT ... this is a standup show where you start somewhere and you have to end it , no ? Where was the end ?

What was the story apart from just random Choudhary -Pandit lame jokes for one hour ? Initial startup bit gave some laugh and smile . I mean the whole Pandit - Choudhary saga could have ended in 10 minutes but he made a whole show out of it which turned pretty boring .

Sorry to say this , but The Bassi bubble has been busted !

Pieced together an excellent set... Entertaining to see the full life story unfold. Great call-backs. Unplanned audience interaction was also handled with aplomb.

The timing and delivery were spot-on. He sometimes can't control his own laugh while telling the joke... yet his execution makes every joke even funnier. You can see he lives story right on stage - truly a raconteur. The way he weaves stories is very engaging. His ability to create a vivid visualisation of his adventures as a business owner was fun.

Enjoyable laugh riot for 83 minutes. Maybe I laugh out loud, but I had to explain flatmates I was watching comedy show😝

Boring

I watched Bassi's standup comedy show and I was extremely disappointed. The jokes were stale and lacked originality, and the delivery was uninspired. The audience seemed to have trouble connecting with the comedian, as there were long periods of silence throughout the performance. I expected much more from a comedian with such a reputation and was let down by the lack of effort put into the show.

I was disappointed with the lack of variety in the material. Many of the jokes felt repetitive and failed to bring anything new to the table. Additionally, some of the stories that Bassi shared were quite lengthy and lacked the punchline or payoff to make them entertaining I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone looking for a good night of comedy.

Simply hilarious

Truly the best stand up show by any comedian in recent times. Hats Off Bassi.

You will surely enjoy and will go ROFL.. Don't fall for the negative reviews or you will miss some great humor.. Just think of the last time when you had laughed whole heartedly.. Well I did today.. Just watch it without any second thoughts.. It will surely make your day..

He's got something in his personality. His stage presence and style of delivering is enough to make you burst with laughter.. An ordinary story of his life, showing how carefree and bindass he has lived.. But the way it has been delivered all along with some brilliant punchlines has totally made this show a SUPERHIT.. Just go for it.. #MazaAaGayaBassi.

Not a good laughter

Lack of content. Laughing himself, that's too when there is nothing in the joke. If you lack sense of humour, you might like it. His previous acts like Hostel are good. I watched it for 30 mins and couldn't find a single joke worth laughing. Just thought of not wasting overall 84 mins on this. He tried to copy Zakir also somewhere in between but failed miserably.

His journey, first job and everything else whatever he portrayed, doesn't have you a good laughter. It probably put smile on your face once or twice, but that is not expected out of a standup comedian. Overall, not a very good last laugh.

Bassi Supremacy

One of the standout moments of the show comes when the friends decide how they will raise money for their start-up. Throughout the show, Bassi does an excellent job of keeping the energy level high and the audience engaged. The stories are hilarious and relatable, touching on everything from the challenges of raising money to the joys of finally seeing their hard work pay off. What makes the show particularly effective is the way that each story builds on the previous one, creating a cohesive narrative that keeps the audience engaged and invested in the outcome. The production values of the show are also top-notch, with excellent lighting and sound design that add to the overall experience. The stage is simple but effective.

I was like Bas kar Bassi bhai in 15 mins into the show. More irritating was that he was laughing at his own lines which weren't first of all funny at all. I understand comedians use a lot of exaggeration. But It shouldn't look totally fake and un-relatable.

He was lucky to have got such a sober audience who cheered him for no reason. There was a moment where Bassi bhai himself realised that he had delivered a bad joke. I hope he improves with time and more and more performances.

One thing to appreciate about him is his confidence, body language and the ease with which he performs. So surely, with good writing he can become a very entertaining stand up comedian.

Worth Watching

Stand Up Comedy is incredibly hit or miss for me. I either love someone's act or I don't. No in between. He's great because he's got an edge and best of all, he's actually funny. He has such an amazing way with words and humor. His best material is when he's talking about his personal life and his bizarre encounters with wacky, almost literally life like, characters. He doesn't talk down to people and he's a master of self deprecating humor. It's incredible how far this man has come in recent years's and has never been offensive. I'd rather watch a comedian be honest about how they feel then just try to shock and offend people for the sake of it.

Kuch bhi

I recently saw zakir's bhai Tathastu and difference between bassi and zakir has become very clear to me. Zakir stand up has a story, plot and always a beautiful ending. But bassi toh kuch bhi random bole ja raha tha. First part of stand up about start up was little good but uske baad chaudhary and pandit wali story ko bahut jyada lamba khincha aur koi laughter nhi tha. Bassi stand up was a huge deal on YouTube but this prime special is a huge flop. He was blabbing absolute random things which didn't make any sense at all. Bassi should focus more on his writing because this special was terrible to watch.

The name of the show is perfect where audience is telling to bassi to stop "bas kar " no script totally random unfunny jokes.. Not expected this worst show by him atleast he should have some good contain of you compare to thastu the level zakhir has hit he is not even 1% close to that they way zakhir has hold on audience 1.5 hour went like this and in this show it was like ab kuch aacha aayeha ab kuch hoga but got very disappointed cheating video is more more better then this long video isase aacha cheating 5 bar dekh lo usme jada maza aaye totally waste of time sorry to say this BASS KAR BASSSI REALLY BASSS KAR...

Many people are saying this stand up is not up to the mark. Bassi strength is storytelling and you guys are missing on it. Go and listen the whole stand up, it's definitely worth watching. He has the ability make everyone laugh! Prime pe pura 90 minute bhai ne maze diladiye hai. This guy can indulge the audience and viewers in a very astonishing way. Loved this show. I would suggest you all the watch the whole video on Prime. When he was talking about the bank balance in his account, he almost got teary eyed. You're a blessing for people like us. Thank You so much for making us laugh. This show is the best medicine when you feel down.

Overly exaggerated

The restaurant plot was overly exaggerated and boring. It didn't seem like a storytelling, just random pjs. The delivery was also weak, in other videos he used to stay calm and talk on point, but here he was laughing too much that audience expected a lot from the joke only to find it very average. I was waiting the whole episode that now twist will come, maybe now he will talk about something else.

I enjoyed the stuck in the lift part, the lawyer part before he joined the startup, and the audience interaction. Maybe it would have been good if was more of audience interaction.

Hoping that bassi will with good content like before.

Connundrum: Story telling?

I will be honest here, I was never a very huge fan of his style of comedy, though it is a subjective topic. I was not at all surprised by the fact that his special was average af. I knew all along that Bassi at his peak is an average comedian, his storytelling has some sort of decency, but he is not naturally equipped with "good comic timing". In India, there are very few comedians who have this type of conglomeration.

The great Norm Macdonald said, "Comedy is surprises, so if you're intending to make somebody laugh and they don't laugh, that's funny".

I don't think, Bassi is meant for tight 1-hour specials, he has an amiable personality for sure.

Good luck to him for his journey ahead.

A fun way to pass 90 minutes

Bas Kar Bassi is a hilarious and entertaining standup comedy show that had me laughing from start to finish. The show is centered around the funny and relatable memories of five friends who decided to open a start-up, and the ups and downs they faced along the way. Bassi does an excellent job of keeping the audience engaged and entertained throughout. He is a natural performer with impeccable timing and delivery. What sets Bas Kar Bassi apart from other standup comedy shows is its unique format. Rather than just telling jokes, the show is more of a storytelling experience and listening to five friends embarrassing memories of their start-up journey.

No, the jokes were not up to the mark, Bassi kept on laughing at his own jokes for no laughable reason whatsoever, complete waste of 1hr 23mins to be frank.

Pandit and Chaudhary jokes were just cringeworthy at best.

His journeys, his first job, and everything else he described don't make you laugh out loud. It definitely made you chuckle once or twice, but that is not what you would anticipate from a standup comedian. Not a very funny closing joke overall

Watch this show at your own risk, I've wasted my 1hr 23mins on this utter crap, I had high hopes on this one, since it was presented on Amazon Prime Video.

Perfection Just Perfection

Perfection. The only word that can describe this stand up is PERFECTION. Every minute, every bit is gold I wasn't a bassi fan until I saw this show. I'd catch just a few moments of the show while channel surfing, and didn't think much of it. One night, out of boredom I watched a few minutes of his material and was floored. I couldn't believe how funny he was. The next day I showed it to my best friend . We laughed audibly for the entire study hall, constantly being told to shut up. Dominant, fast paced and supremely hilarious. I think this is my favorite stand up it's between this and zakir khan tathasthu. This show is the best medicine when you feel down.

Masterpiece

I absolutely adored 'Bas Kar Bassi'! It's a hilarious and heartwarming show that will have you in stitches from start to finish. The show is clever, funny, and heartwarming. The memories of the five students are so relatable and will have you laughing out loud.

Watched the entire standup on prime. It was truly a masterpiece. I don't think i need to justify this statement for bassi is literally one of the best comedian out there. Bassi's stand up is more like listening to a friend talk about his life's funny incidents The funniest part of the entire video was blue lagoon maggi. Hands down one of the best stand-up performers of the lot. His narration is so uncomplicated. Anubhav Singh Bassi is GOAT Stand-up Comedian!! Love you Sir!!
