I get why Disney would want this sort of episode, but as someone who isn't a four year old, it fails to entertain.
The first episode of Moon Girl was really good in that it had modern and mature themes about the real world that applied to both kids and adults. However, this episode feels like a Marvel rendition of Paw Patrol, with a generic, predictable, and utterly boring plot that failed to entertain me.
The message it tries to send is good, but for a show that had such a good first impression I wonder what the other episodes will be like, and if they will meet the standards that the series premiere set in place.
