A Tragedy Heavily Dramatized (Rambling Review ;))
Nacole200519 August 2019
I have been watching this program on demand for a couple of weeks. My interest in true crime programming is I guess as an amateur study in human nature (I'm also a fan of programs like my 600 lb Life and intervention). The takeaway from me is usually that whether it's drug addiction, murder, or food addiction, the cause almost always starts with something everyone has experienced or something someone they know has experienced. I say all that to say that the dramatizing effects for this program detract from the tragedies. The stories are simple but also complex so the extra tidbits added to try to keep the viewer guessing almost trivializes these cases. I occasionally look up the cases to see how the survivors are healing and whether there have been any changes to the convictions and/ or sentences of the perpetrator. I was very surprised to see a review by Sunday's daughter here and was sad to see that the episode got basic information incorrect even after contacting her. Maybe if they spent less time adding stupid effects and "spicing up" the story they wouldn't miss things like that.

Load of mess
jseagroves7910 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, Sunday's last name and Theo's last name was not Evans! They was absolutely nothing to the Evans people except for stepchildren! Roy or Herman as everyone knew him had 2 daughters and a son which was not Sunday or Theo. As far as a seemingly perfect family, bull mess! there was so many skeletons and screwed up madness in that family it was insane. Secondly it was not infidelity that caused the murder it was Drugs! it was also a crazed grandmother who used the one thing that Herman thrived from to get Sunday gone! Money! Their "thriving" flower shop was on the verge of bankruptcy and Herman didn't own a thing most especially a trucking business. There was also a divorce that was days away from being final. ID when you write a story about something, get all your facts straight, I am a family member who walked through this whole incident and this story is straight up bull! The only truth behind this is what the daughters interview at the end!

Ol Mayberry

First off not laughing at anyone who was effected by this crime and the crime itself. If anyone even reads this or watches that episode, that's from Tifton would be confused, don't watch it unless you want a good laugh. I couldn't get past the beginning of this episode or the ending without laughing. The murder, which im not familiar with, whoever was effected by this murder deserved better then this trash. Who in Mayberry produced this and described Tifton Ga must been on something, looks like porn star producer tried to make crime documentary.
