I don't normally leave reviews for individual episodes, but the musical themed special of QUIZarenaLIVE is something to behold.
It had been teased a few seasons ago after the Disney special that they would do an episode on musicals. It was worth the wait.
Richard Lovegrove kicks of the show with a musical quote, before Rhiannon Elizabeth Irons comes in giving us a brief rendition of You Haven't Seen The Last Of Me from Burlesque. It was a great start to the show and gives the viewers an insight in the years of performing that both of them have done.
The episodes that just feature Richard and Rhiannon are wickedly entertaining. These two are the perfect couple to host any event. They're flirty, fun, and physically gorgeous.
Two new games were introduced - A Chorus Line and Gotta Dance - but only one was played this time around.
The musical references were both modern and of the bygone era of Hollywood. It was great to see Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire on screen in a modern show and spoken about with much love and care.
The final tournament was the perfect combination of classic and modern, with facts I didn't know. Rhiannon likes to test us and this time around, she stepped up and delivered.
When I say this episode is the best I've seen, I mean it. It was fully immersive in the world of musicals. If you're a fan of the genre, you will love QUIZarenaLIVE, the musical special.
