Is this a drama or a comedy?

Warning: Spoilers
Gorgeous cinematography, the actors were (mostly) great, beautiful locations, well-done direction. Everyone tried and wanted to make Chains of Heart a quality and engaging series. Well.... everyone except the writers. The first episodes appealed to me as they reminded me of my favorite series, KinnPorsche. Then it got worse; especially at the end things started to make no sense. But it was so funny! Especially Din's ninja moves in the forest. Or how was Ken crying 24/7. Or how someone was strangling him all the time. Too bad this wasn't a comedy. :)

1) Mr. Lue is wearing sweater and leather gloves in BANGKOK where is hot all the time 2) If Ken is not being choked, he is crying 3) That one dude who is literally READING MINDS 4) The main bad guy is illegally selling wood and... human organs 5) No one can shoot Mr. Lue even if he's like 5 meters away from them 6) Mr. Lue's ninja moves in the end 7) Payu's eyebrows.

Warning: Spoilers
A well knit plot emphasizing profound feelings between a forest ranger (trying to expose a din timber laundering case) and a Michelin restaurant chef. It vibes of a taupe color toned thriller romance based on a novel by P' Tom Tanakorn, with an open ending. Framing of premises or open locations especially drone shots were extremely crisp and satiating. Quality delivered through each scene can be directly attributed to the passion of Camera team and artistic palette of Production team. I appreciate and congratulate P' Term Rungradit for bestowing us with a worthy content. Action sequences were appealingly choreographed besides stunts with vehicles and ammunition being 'neat'. The concept of plastic surgery hasn't been applied in a long while. Make up artists put in a good work showing the after fight trauma on bodies, aptly. Psychotic conduct of villainous characters has been extrapolated charmingly (<3 can u see hearts in my eyes) keng mak mak..... From the introduction of characters to the revelation of past, evolution of the storyline kept my interest quotient high as every moment, a little detail unfolded. There are no fillers. Styling and accessories on characters were impressive. It has a fused spirt of Thai Culture with Cantonese glint. Interiors are suggestive of local crafts without deviating from the tone of the overall plot. Depiction of a huge round mirror in 'Ken's' bedroom bordered with photocards of them meant more than mere decoration. Ku shop... Overall the chemistry of leads was top-notch as far as the plot was concerned. Love making scenes were scripted and filmed seamlessly.

Moving onto the parts that I found not so good. Firstly storyline being wild, intense and clever requires actors to hold a level of maturity but the actors playing mutual friends to 'Din' and 'Ken' looked like high schoolers. Secondly no one would tattoo the whole wiki image of Qixi day on to their backs. Tattoo artist could have used a couple of magpie birds to represent this festival, outdated even in China currently. '7th day of 7th month' has been madly exploited here. Thirdly, in the first few episodes, Sarun did not emote angst upon loss of a loved person correctly. It looked amateur. Still I will not let these cloud my judgement......
