The murder POV reenactment was filmed in the exact area where Jessica was killed.
There is no archival news footage, which is unusual for a true crime documentary. This is because the director could not afford to pay for the broadcasting rights of the KPLC news coverage. Without the licensing, the footage would have had a watermark, thus rendering it unusable. He tried (unsucessfully) to get them to lower the price.
Walter's anticipated date of release has been moved up since the release of this documentary.
The entire movie takes place in the Director's hometown of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Walter claims he did not have "sexual relations" with Jessica prior to her death. This terminology is interesting because it was the same year as the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal where he famously (or infamously) replied under questioning, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman."
