Comparing Amitabh Bachchan & Rajinikanth’s Coolie At The Box Office (Photo Credit – IMDb)
Coolie is back after 41 years. That’s it, that should be the news. Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic classic, which was released in 1983, has given its title to another superstar, Rajinikanth, who is headlining a film by the same name that will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Rajinikanth’s Coolie Paycheck!
Reports suggest that Rajinikanth‘s paycheck for Loki’s film amounts to a whopping 280 crore! This is massive and probably one of the highest paid in the country. However, none has confirmed or denied the staggering amount being speculated as the superstar’s payment.
The film will be released in 2025, and only the announcement of the film has garnered so much love and hysteria. In a long teaser, Rajinikanth is introduced as Coolie . This is the same film that has a rumored appearance by Shah Rukh Khan as well.

As an adult-content creator with a large following on the internet, Isla David has dealt with trolls before. Usually, her work combatting online bad actors involves her trying to take down photos of herself that have been posted elsewhere without her permission, such as a photo for an ad for “horny MILFs in your area” that she’s been trying to get removed for years. Artists suing generative artificial intelligence art generators have hit a stumbling block in a first-of-its-kind lawsuit over the uncompensated and unauthorized use of billions of images downloaded from the internet to train AI systems, with a federal judge’s dismissal of most claims.
U.S. District Judge William Orrick on Monday found that copyright infringement claims cannot move forward against Midjourney and DeviantArt, concluding the accusations are “defective in numerous respects.” Among the issues are whether the AI systems they run on actually contain copies of copyrighted images that were used to create infringing works and if the artists can substantiate infringement in the absence of identical material created by the AI tools. Claims against the companies for infringement, right of publicity, unfair competition and breach of contract were dismissed, though they will likely be reasserted.

Moody’s Investors Service, which rates corporate creditworthiness, said it expects agreements with three Hollywood guilds collectively will cost big media companies it follows $450 million to $600 million more per year. That includes the recently ratified DGA deal and eventual settlements with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA. Moody’s covers most of the entertainment industry, though some smaller, independent players aren’t captured in the number.
The “greater leverage of two unions vying for new agreements will result in higher costs for studios [and] will likely be credit negative,” the firm said in a note today titled “Actors Join Writers’ Strike: Golden Age Of TV Spending Causes Dark Age for Studio Profits.”
“Production in the U.S. has halted at a time when the sector is under pressure to mitigate the secular decline in linear TV and show it can operate streaming platforms at a profit to mitigate linear decay,” it said. “Two...
