When it comes to the first 15 episodes, I actually find it rather tiresome and not worth incorporating more episodes. Bird was advertised as the protagonist at first but wound up getting pushed aside in favor of Ekusu donning a poor excuse of a pseudonym. I even find the exotic eye designs even weirder.
They can forget about whether the matches are boring or not! If you ask me, Ekusu winning all the time with Bird always losing is practically boring in on itself despite going all out for the X system. Not to mention the writers purposely made bird lose all the time which will brand him as a loser for life. An absolute loser who can't rack up 1 professional win.
