Manifesto, an Entertaining Look at Marx and Engels
caroleditosti25 June 2023
Humorous, well acted, Manifesto boasts fine technicals and direction. Caveat-I know the director and a few of the cast. However, as a reviewer of films for years (I have served as press for Tribeca, NYFF, Athena FF, SXSW, NY Jewish FF, and others...check out my reviews if you look under my name... it is obvious to me why it has been accepted into festivals and has won awards.

The concept is forward-thinking placing a woman in the forefront between two "titans" in "modern" thought that has been twisted ever since and used for despots to maintain power. What is interesting is that women dismissed and often made invisible in history by mean, here triumph. Give it a look see for its currency and production values.
