Madonna came under fire in recent months for the usage of guns in her stage performances. The 54-year-old performer incorporated guns into acts of her Mdna tour, angering some critics.
When the issue was first raised last year, a representative for Madonna told HuffPost, "Madonna would rather cancel her show than censor her art," adding, "Her entire career, she has fought against people telling her what she can and cannot do. She's not about to start listening to them now."
With the release of her film “Madonna: The Mdna Tour,” which chronicles her time on tour, Madonna has been forced to comment on her use of the weapons again.
In a weekend interview with "Good Morning America," Madonna defended the choice. Take a look at the video above at the 1:45 mark. "That would be like asking people to not have guns in action movies," Madonna said when asked if...

The 54-year-old admitted that she's a "pretty strict" mother to Lourdes, Rocco, David and Mercy. She also gushed that watching her two oldest children grow up has been "kind of uncomfortable." "Seeing my daughter at 16…She's still my little girl and also a woman," she said. Madonna also explained how Lourdes' newly gifted iPhone has changed the dynamic of their relationship, saying, "Ever since my daughter got an iPhone, she stopped talking to me." And while...

Madonna is redefining what it means to be a "cool mom." The legendary pop singer, 54, spent the majority of her time at a June 18 after party for the Cinema Society screening of her documentary Madonna: The Mdna Tour partying with her kids -- and both Lourdes and Rocco looked like they were having a blast. According to an onlooker, the Material Girl didn't seem to bat an eye when Leon, 16, made out with her boyfriend, Homeland actor Timothee Chalamet. Leon and Chalamet were first linked [...]...

The Paris Theater was the place to be last night (June 18) as Madonna and Kelly Osbourne both attended the New York City premiere of “Madonna: The Mdna Tour.”
Joined by her boyfriend Brahim Zaibat, Madge looked lovely in a black top hat and full tuxedo as she greeted her fans and members of the press.
Meanwhile, Kelly brought her main man Matthew Mosshart along for the ride and got all gussied up in some duds reminiscent of Madonna’s style back in the 1980s.
Also in the house were stars like Carol Alt, Caroline Rhea, Nicky Hilton, Andy Cohen, Beth Ortosky, and Jourdan Dunn.

Madonna held court at New York's Paris Theatre June 18, where she debuted the much-anticipated film version of her Mdna World Tour before a packed house of fellow stars and die-hard fans.
The Queen of Pop channeled Marlene Dietrich's iconic "Morocco" look in men's trousers, a tuxedo jacket and top hat. As Madonna later pointed out, it was an inspired choice (if one the star has previously embraced throughout her career) as Dietrich herself was present at the Paris Theatre's 1948 opening.
An unseasonably chilly rainstorm did little to deter the throng of die-hard fans, who huddled outside the theater for hours in advance of Madonna's arrival. Also in attendance at the premiere, which was hosted by the Cinema Society and Dolce & Gabbana, were Kelly Osbourne, Nicky Hilton, Martha Stewart, Andy Cohen and longtime Madonna pal Debi Mazar, among other celebs.

Always one to turn heads wherever she goes, Madonna walked the red carpet at the Epix world premiere of "Madonna: The Mdna Tour" on Tuesday (June 18) in New York City.
Donning a fitted black tux and top hat, the Material Girl hammed it up for the shutterbugs outside the Paris Theatre before heading inside for the main event.
The show features concert footage, shot primarily in Miami during the ageless singer's Mdna tour, which Madge describes as “My show is a journey…the journey of a soul from darkness to light. It is part cinematic musical theatre – part spectacle and sometimes intimate performance art. It is journey from anger to love and from chaos to order. There are good guys and bad guys to help illustrate this point. Sometimes I play both. It must be watched with an open heart from beginning to end. I am sure if it is viewed this way,...
