As I fell in love with you, I started to have the will to live for the first time. So how could those feelings be wrong? I was practically dead already but you made me live.

This one was so frustrating in so many ways but so satisfying in others.

This drama has an amazing story and it has many moments where you won't be able to take your eyes off the screen.

It has just a beautiful script and the narrative and romance are so meaningful, mesmerizing, deep and yet heartbreaking.

The characters are extremely complex, specially in their past life, and due to their tragic fate, they are left wounded but irreversibly tied forever in a twisted love story.

Everything is told in two different timelines and it continues to play us flashbacks from the past so we can understand what happened to them in their past lives. The problem comes when almost in every episode they replay and repeat same scenes over and over again, to the point that gets extremely boring and dragging.

There's way too many filler scenes, characters and conversations that are just absolutely redundant.

I wish this drama would have been made by someone different, it would have been completely different, it actually had the potential of being a masterpiece.

Overall still an okay watch, I enjoyed it and I actually thought the ending was perfectly fitting.

Very intriguing at first but it gets dragged

Warning: Spoilers
The storyline has potential but just like other people mentioned in the review's in Viki up to episode seven and so on feels very dragged. I think what also made me loose interest in this show was the ML's interpretation role as Do-ha. His character gets boring after a while. I love me some enemies to lovers shows however the chemistry was not chemistrying when it was supposed to. My boy had the same facial expression that showed no emotion. My last straw was the kissing scene in episode ten. It gave nothing but stiffness 🙈. Same goes for the Female lead. And for the antagonist I will say he did a pretty good job with annoying me which means it's a win. Overall everything is fine it's just the stiffness that is seen between the two leads.

Great story, a little bit underwhelming
meemsyd21 December 2023
A touching tragedy about star cross'd lovers basically, featuring reincarnation, past lives and revenge.

The good: Actors have great chemistry, the pacing and story are done well. The historical past lives stuff was the highlight of most episodes; costumes, story and emotions there are so engaging. The story overall is a tragedy but has enough light moments to keep it from feeling overwhelmingly depressing, and the plot is satisfying.

The not so good: I think the emotional connection between the lead characters could have come a little quicker and gone a little deeper. I enjoyed watching the show overall, but wasn't left feeling that "wow, that was so good" feeling.

WOW!
theresa-seem22 November 2023
The intensity of these characters is off the charts! I watch a lot of kdramas, but I don't typically expect such intense performances. Both Kim Young Dae and Pyo Ye Jin are knocking it out of the park!

Not only wonderful characters and top-notch acting, but the plot is fresh as well. Reincarnated, devoted, but star-crossed enemies to lovers is kind of a new take on the typical kdrama enemies to lovers trope.

The supporting characters are outstanding as well: the loyal older brother to Han Joon Oh; the loyal assistant to Han Joon Oh; the loyal friend to Kang Young Hwa; the evil, conceited ex-girlfriend of Han Joon Oh; the jealous rival actor of Han Joon Oh. These supporting characters seem to be ALL IN as well!

Thoroughly enjoying this one and anxiously awaiting every episode!

<3 Young-Dae Kim <3

Wow his eyes are captivating. His voice transcends your soul to be held in his breath as he sets you ever soul right into his heart. He's absolutely hilarious when he needs to be and as cool as only he can be. He's definitely La Crème de la Crème of my Favorite actors.

Pyo Ye-jin- Is one of the finer Actors in her time. In this show, she slowly evolves from a tough firefighter to a beautiful loving soul, I love how she can look so plain and yet emit such natural beauty.

Wonderful talent throughout. I was a little confused as to where it was all going at first, but I was able to catch up pretty quickly. So happy to see something a little different.

Extremely happy to see Young-Dae Kim Flex his acting chops. A wonderful Talent!!!

If only there were more than 10 stars!

If only I could give more than 10 stars! I've cried a bucket load of tears in the last two episodes, and I do agree that the ending was a reasonable one, but the fan of romance in me yearns for a happy ending and a sweet romance to leave us viewers with. I wish there is a sequel and we can see more of the leads in their new life. I loved the ML in shooting stars, and loved him here as well, he was my reason of adding this show to my watchlist. But the FL was a pleasant surprise, I hadn't seen her before and she performed beautifully, both in her role in the present and historic era. The chemistry of the leads was intense, very convincing and very sweet. I've binge watched this show in two days and I will keep thinking of the story and the characters for weeks to come, I seriously want more of these guys! Something like Forever and Ever after One and Only...

A wasted opportunity
danigerch17 January 2024
This drama started strong, with an interesting premise, and solid performances from the lead actors. In another life, a young couple is torn apart by tragedy and 1500 years later, many lives before, they reunite in the presente time to find answers in order to have closure. The initial mystery reminded a lot of Goblin's Sunny and Grim Reaper, so I was excited to see this type of story unfold.

Sadly, I don't know what happened behind the scenes of this production because the script it's a hot mess. Each week it was like a new type of narrative being told, too many voices not being able to properly tell the main story. The drama doesn't seem to take advantage of its strong points nor develops properly the main conflict, and it stretches the mystery of the past live way too long. I even dare say they wasted the good chemistry between the lead actors. The dialogue it's unnatural, full of badly built riddles.

The music selected feels generic, it doesn't complement the characters well nor the situations and overall story.

Truly a wasted opportunity to make a really good story.

Good Enough
PennyReviews25 January 2024
Korean Drama '' Moon in the Day '' is a historical fantasy melodrama.

The drama starts off quite good, though, as it turns out, the past storyline proved to be way more interesting compared to the main story, which got more and more boring as it went on. At least, the ending was interesting and didn't follow the cheesy way out. Rather, it gave closure, without messing with the laws of nature, but having a nice enough ending for all of the characters, including the side ones.

The actors and actresses of the cast, moreover, did a great job with their characters and their performances were enjoyable, aiding to the overall enjoyment of the drama as a whole.

So, overall, five out of ten.

The hypocrisy of showbiz does not even forgive a poltergeist
8avian28 December 2023
A daring production. The cinematography is not extraordinary, but the story and acting are excellent. Basically a drama about Kdrama and the falsity of the image of idols. Once again, the hypocrisy of the Korean public is brought to the screen, a large part of the script being about how celebrities manage to give the pack the image they want. Special attention to details, including the endorsement of soju brands, sweets, vehicles, locations. No cosmetics this time.

The inevitable drink until you drop, which stimulates alcohol sales, then those of hangover cures😂, the media's profit from the scandal at the expense of celebrities, manipulation, etc.

Not even a poltergeist and a firefighter escape from them. The story, quite well written... until episode 12. When it makes the characters, smart and agile, become like in silly movies, many frames with blank stares, the acting becomes theatrical, Until then, it would have been 10 *.
