Samuel L. Jackson is not a man to be messed with.
The legendary actor stopped by the Late Late Show to battle host James Corden in one of his famous “Drop the Mic” rap battles, where he schooled the British host on comebacks and jibes.
Corden started strong, rapping that he was there to prove the “‘L’ in Samuel L. Jackson stands for loser” and mocking Jackson’s Nick Fury character in the Avengers series, telling him “the only time you get applause is when you show up after credits.”
While it was a solid start, Jackson came out guns blazing on his first verse.

Spoiler alert: Don’t challenge Nicky Fury to a rap battle. Samuel L. Jackson took on James Corden on Monday night during The Late Late Show’s “Drop the Mic” battle, and the seasoned actor didn’t hold back.
The British host, 38, started off strong, declaring, “It’s another ‘Drop the Mic’ where I end up an abuser to prove the ‘L’ in Samuel L. Jackson stands for loser… He’s the highest grossing actor, that’s a fact. That’s how he buys all those damn Kangol hats.”

Does the Farm have an off season? Where are all the recruits?
On Quantico Season 2 Episode 14, the task force sets up shop in the Farm because apparently no one else is using it. While it's a little weird being back there, Shelby and Nimah's fascination with the place and finding the spa does earn some laughs.
We've switched to one timeline, but not a lot has changed.
Owen is brought back, which honestly is a little strange. Okay, he was in charge of some of the task force members at the Farm, but that does not necessarily make him fit for the job.
Seeing as how all he does is bring more drama to the mix, it would have been better to let Clay step into the leadership role because Clay is a lot of fun. He is sarcastic and tells it like it is, which is amusing especially when...

Is magic worth all the heartache it causes?
It certainly doesn't seem like it after watching the characters struggle with their realities on The Magicians Season 2 Episode 5 "Cheat Day."
But as Quentin discovered, escaping to the real world isn't as easy as he thought it would be.
Not when the pain of losing Alice remains so fresh in his mind and heart.
It was an interesting choice to bring Emily Greenstreet back as Quentin's coworker.
They have a lot in common. Both dropped out of Brakebills. Both lost someone they cared about to magic. Both are having a hard time letting go.
Not just of the magic, but of the people they loved.
Emily: Were you masturbating in your office?
Quentin: No!
Emily: Whatever. I do.
Quentin: What is this place?

Kylie Jenner's bailing out after just 4 months ... she's unloading her Hidden Hills, CA home -- don't worry she has 3 backups. TMZ has learned Kylie's unloading the pad she bought in August, when she planned to make it her primary residence. But woman's intuition stepped in, and she fell in love with her newest pad instead. No wonder ... that one is worth about $12 mil. The bright side for Kylie -- she bought this 4 bed, 4 bath home for just $4.5 million,...

Kanye West’s Saint Pablo tour has been a pretty huge success since the first leg kicked off this past August, but it wasn’t without its fair share of controversy. Whether it involved long winded rants about Drake, Jay Z, or Donald Trump — or the numerous times West canceled shows — going to one of the dates seemed to be a gamble of sorts. Now, following a string of canceled shows, a representative confirms that all of the 20+ remaining dates for the tour have been canceled. Refunds will be granted at point of purchase.
It all started when West ended his Sacramento set early after only a half an hour, and concertgoers who went to attend his recent Los Angeles show — a make-up date for a previously canceled Los Angeles show — learned that it wouldn’t be happening mere hours before it was scheduled to start. The bright side to...

On the heels of a rape case scandal, slavery epic “The Birth of a Nation” ultimately couldn’t live up to its initial hype this weekend, grossing only $7.1 million. Playing in 2,105 locations, Nate Parker’s film from Fox Searchlight was expected to clear $9 million as of earlier last week — still low figures for a title that was bought by the indie distributor for a record-breaking $17.5 million at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. The bright side is that the R-rated drama has a solid A CinemaScore among those surveyed on opening night, indicating it could play in the weeks to come off positive word of.

Note to self: be careful who you pray with.
On From Dusk Till Dawn Season 3 Episode 1 and From Dusk Till Dawn Season 3 Episode 2, Seth and Richie find themselves facing monsters from Xibalba (hell), and one of them might just be Kate.
First off, I like that we are exploring the ramifications of the Twister exploding.
The Twister was used for a lot of things. It wasn't just a feeding ground, and it's great that Carlos' actions had unexpected consequences. Mixing things up is always fun.
Los hermanos Geckos are pretty well versed in culebras by now. Richie has picked up a few tools of the trade. Freddie has even accepted his role as peacekeeper, and he's pretty good at it.
When everyone is comfortable and settled in, that's exactly when you need to throw a curve ball. Thankfully, that's just what happened.

Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s performance at the MTV Music Video Awards was just the start of what the duo had in store for us, as their sporty workout routine was emulated in the music video for “Side To Side,” which premiered today on Guess.
The music video shows off what is quite possibly the hottest SoulCycle class that ever existed, coupled with sauna and shower scenes to boot. “Side To Side” was directed by Hannah Lux Davis, who has spent the past couple of years helming videos for some of the biggest artists around. Just this year, she’s been responsible for crafting clips for Meghan Trainor and David Guetta.
It’s surprisingly not the only music video that premiered last night involving a fitness theme, either, as Kanye West also debuted his video for “Fade” featuring actress Teyana Taylor. Both clips had the sex appeal in high gear,...

We reported on the controversial recasting of Gotham's Poison Ivy in which young actor Clare Foley was set to be replaced by someone older in order to let Ivy's canonical sexuality take a place on the show. Maggie Geha, who's had small roles on 30 Rock and in Ted 2, has just been cast in that role. When the news broke, some were holding out for an all-new Poison Ivy considering the character on the show is known as Ivy Pepper and not the DC Comics character name of Pamela Isley, but that's not the case. Geha will be taking over the role completely from Foley in Season 3. Zap2It.com has a description of her "transformation" from Fox: Following an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill, Ivy Pepper finds herself reborn, and one step closer to the DC villain she is destined to become: Poison Ivy. Now a...

Paris is for lovers, which makes it the perfect setting for the sophisticated — and ultimately successful — return of Mr. and Mrs. James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser.
Sure, Outlander‘s Claire and Jamie clean up nice in the Starz drama’s second season, which moves the action from the rough highlands of 1700s Scotland to the genteel salons of pre-revolutionary France. But the core of the Frasers’ relationship is a deep passion for one another, expressed lustily and often, and the chemistry between stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan only amplifies as Season 2 kicks off.
