Chugging along through her seventh decade in show business, Sophia Loren is set to make a return to the big screen in what's shaping up to be a family affair.
The 78-year-old Oscar winner will star in another of son Edoardo Ponti's feature films, following her leading role in 2002's "Beautiful Strangers." Now Loren will take on a film version of Jean Cocteau's one-woman play "The Human Voice," set to be staged in Italian ("La Voce Umana"), according to Deadline.com.
"Voice" depicts a woman whose lover of five years is set to marry someone else, and the mental breakdown she endures because of it. The film will shoot for three months in Rome, Naples and Ostia.
