I decided to start watching the Tomb of Terrors 50 movie box set which I haven't seen a film from in many years. Capture the Flag lured me in with its sexy 53 minutes runtime. It seemed a good place to start but pretty quickly I realized this way in no way a horror film. It's more of a high school (or college?) crime/drama/romance. The movie tries to pass off PHOENIX as a small town where kids have nothing better to do than play often criminal versions of capture the flag. The music is mostly crappy throughout though there was a good, fast punk tune. The acting and filmmaking aren't too bad for this sort of thing. The film is lively, fast-paced with some alcoholic dad/son drama and lots of cute girls. Not anything I'd watch again but I didn't hate it or anything.
