THE PARRICIDAL EFFECT is a very boring indie thriller about hypnosis. The lame teen protagonist spends most of the running time with his eyes shut as he is forced to remember the sinister events surrounding the murder of his parents, a crime for which he himself has been accused. This one takes place in a picturesque snowy landscape and is mildly arty, but it's quite dull too due to being way too slow.
