Near the top of the Top 10, for sure

I know SP has been hit-or-miss over the years, but this episode shows you the highs this show can reach. To prevent spoilers, I'll only say that this episode manages to cram in all the goth references many of us experienced first hand: the Village Inn (which all Goths, including my former self, lived at during the 80's), Edgar Allen Poe, Goths, Vamps, and Emos....hilarious! It even spawned a catch phrase (No way!) that everyone in my house chants endlessly.

Along with Margaritaville, The Ungroundable, Something Wall-Mart This Way Comes, Tsst, Cartman Joins Nambla, Butters' Bottom B**ch, Christian Rock Hard, Trapped in the Closed, and Raisins (with a Fishsticks at a tie), this is easily Top 10. Love them!

goth and emo are the same?

This was one of the 5 most creative and fun episodes of South Park.

It was a mystery, horror and comedy type episode.

The episode lacked The big 6 (Cartman, randy, Kyle,butters, Kenny and Stan.). some of them made a minor appearances but with no lines.

Verdict: A must rewatch after You've seen it once.

These dramatic little kids and absolute commitment to being the least conformist makes this episode one of the best. It's hilarious how Henrietta completely fails to see how she's not better than emos and ends up "becoming" one. I'm glad they touched on the goths friendship and how they do care for one another. It's cute that Pete and Michael lie for the sake of Henrietta not feeling bad.

I'd personally love to see them being the focus of more episodes, especially exploring how dumb kids are and the other gothic subcultures.

You should definitely watch all of the goth episodes if you haven't already.
