Warning: Spoilers
I have been on the fence about the L and O reboot but I have to say I really enjoyed tonight's episode. I loved the scenes with Baxter and Price. I thought Tony Goldwyn has been a great addition. For me the writing for the reboot has been a concern but I felt like this episode had a tighter script and better plot as well as better direction. The detectives were outstanding. Maroun did not have a big role in this episode.

The scene with Baxter arguing with the judge and kind of pushing his back against the wall for a positive ruling was reminiscent of older Law and Order episodes. Considering tonight's plot line and subject it would have been fun to have Olivia Benson from SVU do a cameo or interrogate the suspect. I thought the actress who played the prior rape victim did a great job.

This was one of the best episodes in a long time. Great acting from everyone! No one missed a beat. The relationship between Baxter and price was really fleshed out and it made them more round characters. I empathized with them and was moved and I feel more connected to them now. I'm left wanting to know where they go next! The music has gotten so much better! The guest stars! Wow! The guest stars in this episode knocked it out of the park! Just incredible performances. This episode to me felt more like a return to the genre, felt like a real law and order episode from back in the day! Keep em coming! Sure, for the 500th episode it would've been cool to see a legacy character but at the same time we need to get to know these new ones! Jack passed off the torch, so we need to allow ourselves to fall in love with the new team!
