Starting from Odessa, his hometown, through Florence, New York, where he was exposed along with Rothko, Sam Francis and Motherwell in the 50's, Paris, and the South of France, the film is going on the trail of the Ukrainian-French painter Philippe Hosiasson (1898-1978) and the places that accounted for his gaze. By exploring some iconic paintings, it's also looking for his gestures, revealing the many "paths" followed by his work, from figuration to the shores of abstraction.
