"2 Become 1" is a song from the girl group Spice Girls from the year 1996, so this is the 20th anniversary for this song and also some of their other most known songs. Yes they are good at powerful, self-confident and loud music, but after watching these four minutes here I must say that ballads are their biggest strength by far. This song and video are a success for many reasons. First of all, it all seems so harmonic. It is a beautiful love song and if women make a song that focuses partially on physical love, like this one here, there is always a danger that it becomes a failure if they miss the mark. They do not in this case. It all done extremely tastefully and the solo parts (even from the girls I like less) are simply wonderful and the parts where they sing all together are at least as brilliant. The background work nicely as they depict the fast worlds behind the protagonists who slowly exist just for each other, the message this video is trying and succeeding to send. I also like the girls outfits. As a whole, it's near perfection and the lyrics, voices and everything else work extremely well. You should not miss it.
