Garrick Givens is the next David Lynch, a truly remarkably innovative and original voice exploring the normal and the abnormal with a fresh lens that has been dirtied by experience. Cadence, timing, the surreal, the real and unreal, the questions that haunt us in the early morning twilight. A must see for any fan of cinema that provokes thought and imagination. A tour de force!
Although I know Garrick personally, and have collaborated with her on several occasions, I am still in awe of her ability to transform the mundane into something extremely memorable. I believe she also scored this movie as well which could warrant its own glowing review. SEE THIS FILM.
