The Nation's Favourite Elvis Song

Warning: Spoilers
I have listened to many of The King (of Rock)'s songs, but I had always wondered whether I knew or would want to listen to any of his other popular tracks, so this documentary countdown programme was a good opportunity to see what else he did. Elvis Presley is one of the greatest singers and famous stars in the genre of pop and rock in his generation, and still to this day, and this show counted down the best songs he had given us, as voted for by the public. The listed songs are: "King Creole", "If I Can Dream", "Don't Be Cruel", "Viva Las Vegas", "Heartbreak Hotel", "An American Trilogy", "It's Now or Never", "All Shook Up", "Blue Suede Shoes", "The Wonder of You", "Are You Lonesome Tonight?", "Return to Sender", "Love Me Tender", "Hound Dog", "Jailhouse Rock", "A Little Less Conversion" – Elvis Vs JXL, "In the Ghetto", "Can't Help Falling in Love" - also performed by UB40, "Suspicious Minds" - also performed by Gareth Gates and Fine Young Cannibals, and a good number one with "Always on My Mind" - also performed by Pet Shop Boys. Other songs mentioned in the programme were: "(You're the) Devil in Disguise", "Way Down", "Inner Smile" by Texas where Sharleen Spiteri is Elvis in video and "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" by Lisa Marie Presley. Narrated by Zoë Ball, with contributions from Bill Baize, Michael Ball, Steve Binder, Estelle Brown, Michael Bublé, UB40's Ali Campbell, Mac Davis, DJ Fontana, Gareth Gates, Roland Gift, Glen D. Hardin, Tom Holkenborg, Engelbert Humperdinck, Bill Kenwright, Kevin Kern, George Klein, Cerys Matthews, Priscilla Presley, Suzi Quatro, Sir Cliff Richard, Jerry Schilling, Sharleen Spiteri, Mike Stoller, Ronnie Tutt, Pete Waterman and Celeste Yarnell. Very good!
