On its surface, it may seem like a show named "Llama Cop" would be fun but not a serious piece of film. Actually, "Llama Cop" is a highly ambitious series, because it is the first to feature a live llama as its main character--and through six episodes! What if the llama decided he didn't like film-making by episode 4 or 5, or, heaven forbid, the final episode? The show would NOT go on! Finding a cooperative llama and writing a script within the limitations imposed by a live animal actor is daring at the least and nothing short of miraculous to have pulled off. And even with these script-writing limitations, the show is fun, punny and clever. Parodies aren't supposed to be high brow; they're meant to amuse and poke fun at a genre. "Llama Cop" succeeds at its ambitious mission and is a one-of-a-kind creation. Kudos!
