Even in 2014, ghost hunting was mainstream and everyone under 80 already knew everything that this filmmaker chose to drone on and on (and on) about...
Almost immediately, you know this is going to suck...when the opening clip asks "do ghosts exist?" And the response is "what IS a ghost?" *Hint, that is the type of response given every time someone is trying to avoid an answer*
Next, the narrator decides to list every single person involved in the movie, one of which is named "Big E" (no scientific breakthroughs were ever performed by someone named "Big E". Also, why do you force us to listen to 2 minutes of listing cast members, then immediately list them all one by one in the next scene?
Also, we could have done without each cast member listing adjectives THEY believe describe them.
The entire "movie" was incredibly amateurish, poorly filmed, and narrated with a god-awful Wisconsin accent.
There was nothing about this film that I enjoyed. The techniques used were overly simplistic, the cast was unattractive, and the entire thing was unappealing.
These were amateurs, portraying themselves as self-proclaimed "experts" who jumped at every shadow and found "evidence" in everything they could justify to themselves. Every creak was a "spirit" and every flash of light in photos were spectral eyes.
It's been my experience that ghost hunters typically fall into two types, those who NEVER find evidence and those who ALWAYS find evidence, this crew definitely falls into the later.
All-in-all, this is definitely one of those Amazon prime movies that exists only to serve as a filler, so they may boast the quantity of their library. It's not worth the time or effort it takes to watch this movie. Avoid it!
