Lenovo's nifty Ar game/headset is getting some additional content to expand your play time, all of which based on Star Wars: The Last Jedi...Yes, Porgs are included. Come inside to learn more!
Earlier this month, I told you about how awesome Lenovo's Star Wars: Jedi Challenges game was. In my review, I even mentioned the odds of new game content being a factor in its longevity. Well, today they've announced the first expansion for the game (which is entirely free) will launch next month. It's got some cool things coming to it:
Disney, Lucasfilm, and Lenovo today announced a new content expansion for Star Wars: Jedi Challenges, featuring a new planet and characters from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The content expansion is the first since the November launch of the product and will be available for free through a downloadable update to the Star Wars: Jedi Challenges mobile app.

We have had a lot of rumors and potential leaks regarding Star Wars: The Last Jedi to share with you over the last few weeks, and while nothing is as yet confirmed, I think it’s all good fun to speculate on these rumors whether they pan out or not. After all, we still have very little official information to go on with only eight months until the film’s release.
The latest rumor comes courtesy of the folks over at Making Star Wars. It’s not the most exciting news I’ve heard, but it all adds to the puzzle building speculation game, which to me is far more fun than confirmed definite spoilers.
However as always, this stuff could be spoiler territory, so
Spoiler Alert!

This latest rumor involves “Canto Bight,” the supposed name of the casino-looking planet that Finn and Rose go undercover on in The Last Jedi.

I am of two minds regarding Marvel's Daredevil Season 2 on Netflix. When it was good (as it often was), the action and tension represented some of the best genre work on television; when it was bad (as in the season finale), the storytelling and pacing dragged the show down into a sluggish and nonsensical morass.
Of all the Marvel series on Netflix (including Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and the upcoming Punisher), Daredevil has the deepest roster of allies and adversaries, plus a wealth of fan-favorite storylines to explore -- if the show's producers are bold enough to double-down and properly torture the Man Without Fear, as his canon demands.
Which brings us to today's exciting news: According to a radio interview (via McU Exchange), Daredevil Season 3 will begin shooting later this. Matt Murdock himself, actor Charlie Cox, stated:
"I do that later in the year. We'll go back and do that.

Last year, I visited the set of Alien: Covenant. Today, I was able to publish my observations, and I wrote all about the film’s gore and monsters, its cast of characters, its sets and costumes, and its connections to Prometheus. And then, like clockwork, a new trailer arrived, and you know what means – it’s time […]

After watching the first teaser for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” audiences were pretty pumped for the spin-off action film. Then the first trailer arrived and all hell broke loose (in a good way). But now, excitement for the film is on another level, all thanks to the Beastie Boys.
Video editor and YouTuber Matthew Longua made a killer new remix trailer for “Rogue One,” but instead of using composer Alexandre Desplat’s music, he swapped it out for the song “Sabotage” by Beastie Boys. The result is amazing!
The song cues in after Jyn Erso’s (Felicity Jones) line “I rebel,” and instantly kicks the video into high gear, making the footage look even more badass, all while elevating the action sequences.

It’s called Celebration for a reason. Back in April 1999, when “The Phantom Menace” was about to become the first new “Star Wars” film to hit theaters in 16 years, Lucasfilm launched Star Wars Celebration to further stoke the fan fires (and to keep them rejoicing over a relaunched franchise). With over 20,000 attendees, the fan-facing convention was an immediate hit — but the popular event came and went, depending on what was then a very fickle “Star Wars” release schedule.
Today, with the “Star Wars” universe rapidly expanding with all the heat and mass of a black hole, the conventions have become annual affairs that bring fans together to celebrate their shared obsession with George Lucas’ decades-long creation. (Already, Star Wars Celebration Orlando is selling out tickets for 2017.)

During its panel at Star Wars Celebration Europe yesterday, Lucasfilm’s “immersive entertainment division” ILMxLAB made two virtual-reality announcements: David Goyer (“The Dark Knight,” “Man of Steel,” “The Birth of a Nation”) is collaborating with ILMxLAB on a Vr project and “Trials on Tatooine” is coming to the Steam store for free.

“When we looked at all the characters, places, and worlds in the Star Wars universe available to us,” Goyer said, “we asked ourselves, ‘What haven’t we seen before? Who are we curious about?'” The screenwriter, producer and director called Vader the “perfect ambassador to usher us into the Star Wars Vr universe.”

The last day of this year’s Star Wars Celebration closed out on Sunday afternoon in London with the much-anticipated Future Filmmakers panel, centered (appropriately enough) on the future of the “Star Wars” franchise as guided by Lucasfilm leaders Kathleen Kennedy and Kiri Hart.
The forward-focused panel promised to deliver all kinds of goods about the franchise’s still-untitled “Episode VIII” and their Han Solo standalone film, featuring appearances from “Episode VIII” director Rian Johnson and Han Solo helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Johnson, who recently wrapped his very first “Star Wars” film, offered few updates to the eager crowd, and while the expectation might be that Lord and Miller, who are just about to enter production on their own film, would provide even less, the chatty duo had plenty to say.

The 2016 Star Wars Celebration has officially kicked off in London with a bang! With the first day festivities giving fans a new sneak peek at “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and director Gareth Edwards describing the new planet Jedha, the convention is still filled with many more exciting announcements and discussions.
One of them is the “Star Wars Archaeology Panel” where Chief Creative Officer John Knoll, Vice President Executive Creative Director Doug Chiang and Supervising Art Director Kevin Jenkins take attendees on a journey through amazing stories and rarely seen imagery from the “Star Wars” films.

As you probably know by now, Star Wars: The Force Awakens takes us to new corners of a galaxy far far away. Most of the trailers and marketing focus on the first thirty minutes of the film (they haven’t spoiled much) which is set on Rey’s (Daisy Ridley) home desert planet of Jakku. We know […]
