Fantastic Film!! Compelling, timely, thoughtful and moving

Thomas Paine was THE radical founding father who wrote Common Sense, the book that won the hearts and minds of the people over and convinced them to revolt against the English Monarchy, and fight for American Democracy. I found this film to be incredibly compelling, thoughtful and so timely right before this 2016 election. Ian Ruskin brings Paine to life in this intimate film, passionate visionary film. Haskell Weller and his talented crew of filmmakers did a fine job filming this live performance. Elliott Gould's voice as narrator was perfect. I felt Paine was talking directly to me, and learned much from seeing the film. His life was incredible, and so moving. I found it on Vimeo streaming, a DVD is for sale on Amazon and "the Life of Thomas Paine" website and on select Public TV stations nationwide. Highly recommend seeing this film and recommend it to all viewers.
