When first viewing the trailer for this picture, I was dangerously excited, but was really let down by the way of the directors performances, the acting wasn't too bad but the way they performed it was ridiculous. The end part of the movie could have easily been done at the very start but it was dragged out and really slow, for example, they killed off the two baldy men at the end, by attacking them when this could have been done straight away, none of the cast were talking to each other or making any sort of plan to figure out away to killing three men who held them captive, and the three men kept coming down to see them, but soon as the coloured bloke was killed off by his two partners (THE 2 BALDY MEN) they decide to make a quick plan to attack them Which they did at the end of the movie, this could of been done straight away, anyways I'll not go on because talking about it is giving me thoughts and images of the film and is really annoying me to a point where I will be tempted to write a letter to the director telling him to stop making movies!!! Enough said anyone who reads this review please watch and try keep your eyes open,, respect to Clint Eastwood, Marlon brando, and Ricky Gervais ☺

This is a strong movie and it needed unknown faces/actors, to get you sucked in to the whole thing. And while this is a one location movie, the intensity is there. It's not easy to watch and I would call this anything but entertaining. That being said, it doesn't make it less of a movie for being brutally honest with its characters.
And it's not an easy task to achieve. You have to be careful not to glide into cliché territory. To lose the audience either because you're too soft or too gross/vivid with what you show. I think the movie walks that line and achieves it. It's small budget of course and there are restrictions, but all being said, this is what it it's supposed to be. Can you handle it?

Absolutely brilliant ignore any bad reviews i gave this film 10 out of 10 best film i have seen in ages this film has everything true life stories this tells the true events of what goes on with people crossing the border with corrupt people who kidnapp imagrants and hold them to ransom this goes on in quiet neighbourhoods in America get it up yas if you don't watch this classic you are a fud Shout out to methadone mick

I had no clue what this was going to be about before watching it but i was surprised in the best way. After watching the whole movie and without searching anything on the internet I still have no clue if this was a low budget movie or not, that s how real it feels. I'm aware that this isn't actually a 9/10 movie in IMDb review standards and it will probably settle around 7/10 or something over 6.5/10 but it is still worth it.
