***spoiler*** The film consists of a story told by song and photography. Stitched together scenes tell a story of a soldier and his descent to addiction. It chronicles the soldiers return, a budding habit, a try to get sober and then acceptance of addiction. All without dialogue.
Both lead actors did a very admirable job in depicting their characters, I particularly liked the male lead because he was so convincing.
It's a sad tale that I'm sure many people in the service or who know someone in the service are familiar with. My heart goes out to all struggling with it and bravo to the film for bringing attention to a subject that is often ignored and taken for granted.
