Everyone has a nickname in the Caribbean. Often acquired in childhood, they may be funny, flattering or even offensive.
One of the main characters, on his way out to work encounters his neighbour who seems to be taken with an irresistible need to call him "Sizo" (scissors). Despite two warnings stating that he hates this nickname, the neighbour persist at calling him Sizo. Things gradually sink into a spiral of violence and 'Sizo" serioulys arms his neighbour, who is left without the ability to talk. However, the neighbour rises from whatever physical arm he is subjected to and manages to convey the offensive word with two fingers. Sizo, overwhelmed by his neighbour dedication to hurt him, looses it.
A short film which cannot be read without knowledge of the Caribbean, in occurence the French Caribbean island of Martinique, where everyone knows at least one person with a nickname. The director does not say if Sizo is about a physical or personality trait of the character. Instead, he focuses on the comedy which is taken to the absurd.
