Just like the first season, James Gunn has written every episode of Peacemaker season 2, but he won’t be able to direct as many this time around as he’s in the midst of directing Superman. “Yes, I’ve written all the episodes; but, no, in the interest of getting the show out there I won’t be able to direct them all (only some),” Gunn said last month. He added that that will be “three other great directors joining me for the season.“

It’s likely only a matter of time before Dave Bautista officially joins the Dcu, but who should he play? James Gunn took that very question to fans over on Threads, and there were quite a few interesting responses.
One of the most popular responses suggested that Dave Bautista play Hugo Strange in the Dcu, the scientist and criminal mastermind who was one of Batman’s first recurring villains. Another popular choice was Mongul, the tyrannical ruler of Warworld who can go toe-to-toe with Superman. Other comments suggested that Bautista would be perfect for characters such as Darkseid, Bane, Kilowog, Mr. Freeze, Atrocitus, or even Bibbo Bibbowski.

Filming on “The Last of Us” Season 2 will soon be underway and the cast continues to grow this week with the addition of Isabela Merced (Dora and the Lost City of Gold).
Variety reports that Merced will play The Last of Us Part II video game character Dina in Season 2 of the HBO series, who was the girlfriend of Ellie in the video game sequel.
“Dina is warm, brilliant, wild, funny, moral, dangerous and instantly lovable,” said series co-creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. “You can search forever for an actor who effortlessly embodies all of those things, or you can find Isabela Merced right away. The citizens of a galaxy far, far away sure love their masks and face coverings, don't they? One of the very first things we see in the original "Star Wars" is Darth Vader in his iconic helmet flanked by Stormtroopers in their respective headgear. For that matter, Boba Fett became one of the most popular supporting players in the franchise purely thanks to his Mandalorian helmet and the mystique it projects. It's not just villains and antiheroes, though. Even the sequel trilogy heroes Finn and Rey are wearing masks when we meet them in "The Force Awakens."
From a storytelling perspective, masks are a useful way of getting your audience to wonder who's underneath and what their deal is from the moment they arrive. It creates intrigue and mystery, which is particularly effective when you're trying to build hype for a new "Star Wars" project. That's presumably why the "Ahsoka...

“Adipurush,” starring Prabhas (the “Baahubali” films), is one of the most anticipated Indian films of 2022. It is directed by Om Raut, who directed Ajay Devgn-starring “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior,” the biggest Indian box office hit of 2020 with $50 million.
“Adipurush” is Raut’s take on Indian mythological epic “Ramayana,” which has been adapted for film and television numerous times in India, including a series which ran for several years on state broadcaster Doordarshan. However, the idea for the film was born when Raut attended a screening of Japanese filmmaker Yugo Sako’s anime version of the epic, “The Prince of Light,” which he watched at the Mumbai Film Festival in the early 2000s.
“I was mesmerized. This is the way this story has to be told, very condensed… precise, yet you feel for the characters, you are rooting for Prabhu [Lord] Ram — and at the same time the presentation was so...
