At the farmyard, the driver's door of the Range Rover is open and the first soldier closes it and moves on, but when the following soldiers enter the farmyard, the driver's door is open again.
In actuality the titular vehicle is not a tank at all. It's an armored personnel carrier. In fact it appears to be a British Army FV432 type APC - the number may perhaps be the origin of the "Tank 432" name.
No soldiers of any kind would cross an open field in a combat zone unless they had no choice. There is little cover in an open field, and they would be exposed targets for any enemies.
