Reviewed against other Asian dramas.
There are basically two love stories that we follow in this show. The main love story, where we spend most of the time, and a secondary love story. This has the typical Asian drama misunderstandings where one person decides it is better to sacrifice for the other to be happy, but never talks it out with the other person. It is important to have conflict in order to maintain interest in a show, and this show does have a health issue conflict, but I would have like to see a greater variety in the types of conflict. Hoping for something more original.
SPOILER: I did give this an extra star because it doesn't follow the Asian norm of both couples ending happily together, so I found that somewhat original. The ending was good because it ended hopeful in spite of a very unhappy event.
