A Trip Through the Woods
Abandoned: The Filming Locations of Sleepaway Camp 2 & 3 (2015)
*** (out of 4)
Adam the Woo and Tyler Patrick host this 15 minute featurette that takes a look at the remaining sets from the first two sequels to SLEEPAWAY CAMP. If you're familiar with Sean Clark's Horror's Hallowed Grounds series then this here is basically the same thing, although this here isn't quite as polished or nice. Adam the Woo and Patrick pretty much just take a camera into the woods of Georgia and happen to discover what's left of the cabins. I must admit that I found this very entertaining, although it's a little shocking to see the extremely poor condition of the camp as it appears no one has been there since the films were actually shot. The majority of the cabins are falling down and have plants growing all over them. We get to see how the stuff looks now and we also gets clips from the movies just to compare. We also get to see the pond that was used in part three and the swimming pool from part two. Fans of the two films will certainly be entertained by this and it appears both of our hosts are geeking out over finding these locations but you can't really blame them.
