I've seen better acting and direction from a children's acting boot camp. I feel like I have become dumber by viewing this "art."

An Endearing Indie Show

Too often, indie TV shows feel scraped together and half-baked (no pun intended). However, The Green Room is a pleasant surprise and an honest joy to watch. It builds an endearing cast and instead of leaning into the sort of raunchy humor one might expect from a "stoner" comedy, it actually subverts expectations again and again, offering heartfelt and smart humor throughout. What really brings it all together though, is the likable cast of misfits so appropriately positioned at the world's most ridiculous dispensary.

I watched because it was free, but goddamn each episode is about 20 minutes but it really felt like hour's, Jokes extremely on your nose, and from 20 years ago Im sorry i didn't want to do these reviews because it was free entertainment, but goddamn i wished i didn't had lost 10 hours of my life in this, like just 1 or 2 hours spended watching it so i didn't made a review without arguments, and the other 8 hours just regretting my decision to watch this, i know it's an indie production, but like you have to be actually funny, not just use dupstep, use a rainbow filter, record random shots and call it a day, there's no grace at all, i can't believe there's people rating this nine's and tens, because it just is a big ball of nothing, cosplaying as a stoners comedy, just because they use weed it's not funny, if you want a stoner comedy watch disjointed, because this looks like the unfunny wannabe copy of that, and may i say i was high while watching this, so it just made my experience a whole level of miserable, DON'T WATCH THIS! Even if free.

This is a very funny comedy obviously about that green stuff that's trending today lol. Production A-1 and the security guard is hilarious. I'm glad I came across this show and I hope to see more

This show is just simply so bad, that it won't be watched. I am unable to force my self to watch more than an episode and a half of this horrible garbage. This is not funny, not well done - it's basicly just nothing but god awful acting without any point or direction.

It is not often one comes across such a horrible piece of, well whatever it is trying to be - I don't even care it is that bad.

Watch out for season 2!

Well written, well directed indie series. I was bursting out laughing at certain scenes and I just loved the main character and how he stumbles from one hilarious twisty turn into the next. Watch out for season 2!

Fun, quirky comedy

The Green Room is a fun, quirky comedy about a group of unusual personalities working at a marijuana dispensary. I'm sure this show will be a huge hit for those who like to smoke, but the comedy is fun for everyone regardless. I actually worked on a failed reality tv show about a real life dispensary that didn't make it, but The Green Room is way more fun and interesting. I wish that's what we were filming haha. Setting a scripted comedy in a dispensary is a great choice for today with a seemingly endless amount of comedic possibilities, and the collection of quirky characters that inhabit it makes it that much more enjoyable. I'd highly recommend The Green Room for anyone looking for some laughs and some light comedy.

The Green Room....well, it's dope -- pun intended! In a world where legal marijuana finding its way onto a ballot is all but assured of passing, this comedy is timely, and shows great production value and continuity by focusing its action within the confines of a pot dispensary. Danielle Montezinos is a consistently funny and quirky budtender. The humor lends itself to the stony and the ridiculous. An original series -- long may you run, Green Room!

Hilarious comedy in such a choice setting. So timely in this era where dispensaries are cropping up and legalized marijuana is spreading across the nation. Perfect if you like good burst out loud laughing entertainment. Well written, the story builds and the cast gels as the episodes unfold. Definitely off to a good start. Clearly a Season 2 in the making. I can imagine many more.

Packed with LOVE

The series as a whole is packed with LOVE, laughter, depth and really funny situational comedy. My favorite episode is #3, the one that talks about Alzheimer - man! That's a heavy episode and so beautiful! Really well done guys!

Could have watched the entire series in one day

Episodes are quick paced and fun. I could have knocked out the entire series in a day, but forced myself to wait so I could enjoy it over multiple evenings

It may not be what you are used to seeing in a sitcom, and maybe its not quite as tight/clean as any mainstream workplace comedy, but it does find its footing and brings the laughs. Fun characters with absolutely ridiculous plot lines, but the story overall works quite well. Watching at 4:20 wouldn't hurt either.

This timely and highly original comedy series is a blast from start to finish! Any great series really lives and dies by its characters, and this one has such a great eclectic mix that I could see it running wonderfully for many seasons to come. With solid writing and performances leading the charge, this endearing comedy is relatable for anyone on some level. I'm definitely hoping for a second season of this charming gem!

High Time for Fun Times

The Green Room is a fun comedy series with a heart of green... er umm I mean gold. The story follows the staff of a dispensary through an assortment of comedic adventures. Keep watching past episode 1 because the series only picks up momentum as it progresses. By the time I reached episode 5, it had really fallen into a nice groove. I definitely recommend this title for anyone who's a fan of comedies and indie productions. (also, check out the title sequence, it's really well done)

Funny Ensemble Comedy

Hilarious cast of characters engaging in shenanigans while running a weed dispensary. The cast have great rapport as the jokes come fast and often in their banter with each other. I was surprised by the creative montages in the opening and closing of each episode, episode two ends with a really clever video of 70's themed sexual innuendo for example. The tone is consistent and enjoyable, no one's taking themselves too seriously, and this elevates the comedy as there's a lot of self deprecating humor especially from the "new guy" in the shop.

Such a funny show! I binged the whole series in one day! I love how this show actually teaches the audience about the marijuana industry through comedy. The cast really has great chemistry which leaves me wanting to see more! Definitely worth a watch!

Heralding from a land of legal weed myself (Portland, OR), The Greenroom and its caricatures and idiosyncrasies really hit home! I love how it pokes fun at itself while also imparting thoughtful information about cannabis and its benefits. It is a bright and fun show that got better as it went along. I love the "next level" musicians that stopped Patrick on his way to his new job, very funny and shot creatively. Would definitely recommend!

Once you start one episode you be compelled to continue until you have binge watch them all. Good writing and well round cast. I reccomend this series.

This is a well written comedy series that is a bit quirky but works very well overall. Fun setting and underlying story. Some fun characters (the security guard comes to mind). I would recommend a good break from the staples of network TV.

The Green Room is hugely fun to watch! It puts me in mind of the Office or Parks and Rec where a lot of the comedy comes from great characters and their interactions. Excellent performances by the whole cast make every scene work and the show a joy to watch. I'm stealing one of the lines for a new insult, "they stopped being friends with common sense years ago" Hilarious!

Lots of fun with this series.
