Siskel & Ebert (1991)
Season 5, Episode 17
The Best of 1990 is the subject of this week's episode and once again, if you're a fan of the show then this is one that you look forward to every year. You've got the Best and the Worst of the Year and out of the two I'd argue that the Worst list is the best on entertainment value but these Best of shows are great because you can be reminded of some wonderful movies that you might have forgotten about. GOODFELLAS was the big winner with the critics here and you can't blame them. There's a great discussion on it and Siskel even talks about how a Scorsese film was his pick for the best of the year for the third time in eleven years. Overall this is a very fun episode and very much worth watching.
