Jaros was a playwright with productions under his name by the time he moved from the stage officially to the screen. He chose to make a silent film to challenge himself as a storyteller who was used to only having dialogue to push the plot forward & to combine his love of directing music videos. The opportunity to be a part of the step-by-step process of creating a film score from scratch came about with composer David E. Mitchell. The two had met through a mutual friend in high school and a decade later found themselves both in the same city; they jumped on the chance to work with one another having shared a similar sense of humor.
