- The player can kill anyone he encounters including innocent civilians, and rebels, but the game never instructs you to do so. The player is advised against killing innocent people. Note that the point of the game is to save civilians from an evil dictator, so you will never be told to attack civilians.
- No gore, very little cartoonish blood effects
- Frequent Strong violence with some blood
- Played from a third-person perspective, the games story-line will progress as the player completes a variety of missions. These consist mainly of destroying enemy structures, facilities and strongholds, and liberating settlements from the regime. There is an assortment of vehicles (cars, planes, helicopters, tanks, etc) available for use, and some of them are mounted with weapons. Besides using vehicles to travel around the island, Rico can also traverse about with his retractable grapple hook, parachute and wing-suit.
- Enemies consist mainly of the regimes soldiers. In combat, Rico can utilize a wide selection of pistols, rifles, rocket launchers and explosives. There are depictions of very minimal blood splatter and sometimes hitting walls and ground if enemy is near them. The player has free will to attack non-combatants and civilians, although the game never tasks to do so and such attacks attract the attention and retaliation of security forces.
- Though the game has a lot of violence throughout, it's pretty unrealistic.

- Infrequent PG-level language
- Some cursing in the beginning and half way through.
- There is infrequent use of mild language. Such as 'damn' and its variations can be heard in the dialogue.

- This game is violent but in an unrealistic way. It contains mild cartoonish blood when people get shot but since most of the game has people blowing everything up; most of the blood is hidden due to explosions.
- 'Just Cause 3' is a third-person action game set on the fictional Mediterranean island of Medici. It follows the story of the protagonist Rico Rodriguez as he attempts to liberate his homeland from a dictator.

Violence & Gore
- In a few cutscenes violence can occurs such as after the mission "Bavarium on a plane" the general beats a man to the ground and kicks and punches him repeatedly. You can hear squishes and squashing throughout. In another cutscene, the same general gives a man a gun and walks away as he shots himself in the background, but it is not graphic at all

- In one mission player must deliver wine barrels in a truck to a specific spot.

- A beloved character dies in an explosion which could be upsetting for some.
