'The Art of Je Ne Sais Quoi' is inspired by French New Wave Cinema and style icons Jean Shrimpton and Anna Karina. The film is an exploration of the golden ratio and the classic and modern ideals surrounding femininity, social etiquette and beauty in Western Culture. The piece features costumes by CHOCHENG and an original soundtrack by Gemma Barron and Whitebox, accompanied by mid-century modern style illustrations by Velwyn Vossy. The film is set in an abstract landscape created by set designer Fred Allsop and shot through a 1960's filtered Hockney lens by cinematographer Luke Palmer.
