Batman has been becoming more musical in the last few years with his hit “Untitled Self Portrait” from The Lego Movie really hitting things off. Then there was “Who’s the (Bat)Man” from The Lego Batman Movie. Plus, there’s this gem from Justice League Unlimited. Who would’ve guessed this brooding superhero would be so musical? Well, the team at How It Should Have Ended decided Batman had at least one more song to sing, so they wrote “The Sound of Violence” which is a parody of the Simon & Garfunkel classic, “The Sound of Silence.” This is one of the greatest versions of this song that I’ve heard. It is so freaking funny. Share it with your friends and family for a good laugh.

Demi Lovato is no stranger to experimenting with the latest trends on the red carpet. The singer attended the Grammy’s in a barely there Julien McDonald dress, she wowed at the 2017 Time 100 Gala in a sequin plunging Zuhair Murad gown, and most recently she turned heads in an off-the-shoulder jumpsuit at the Cannes Lions Festival in Cannes. Lovato’s Self Portrait monochrome jumpsuit takes a hit at two major trends as it features a frilled deconstructed top paired with sleek wide-leg culottes.
The deconstructed top trend is a more experimental take on your classic button-down. Designers are adding asymmetric necklines,...

American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan won the 2016 Nobel Prize in literature on Thursday, a stunning announcement that for the first time bestowed the prestigious award on a musician.
The Swedish Academy cited Dylan for "having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition."
Reporters and others gathered for the announcement at the academy's headquarters in Stockholm's Old Town reacted with a loud cheer as his name was read out.

Dylan, who turned 75 in May, had been mentioned in the Nobel speculation for years, but few experts expected the academy to extend the prestigious award to a genre such as popular music.
The academy's permanent secretary, Sara Danius, said that while Dylan performs his poetry in the form of songs, that's no different from the ancient Greeks, whose works were often performed to music.

Joseph Capriati has emerged as a favorite among techno fans over the past several years, and now he’s using his celebrity as a platform for similar artists. The Italian DJ/producer has announced the launch of his very own record label called Redimension.
Capriati has said that he intends to use the platform as a means of promoting the music of “close friends and emerging talents.” The inaugural Redimension release will be Redimension001, an Ep consisting of two tracks on which he collaborated with techno icon Adam Beyer titled “A1 Parallels” and “B2 External Links.”
Capriati’s history with Beyer extends at least as far back as 2009, when he was first signed to Beyer’s own record label, Drumcode. In 2013 he released an album through the imprint titled Self Portrait that played no small part in propelling his career to its present height.

The Academy Awards are this weekend - but how do you actually go about winning one? Plus: some Oscar predictions.
Whether or not you believe they’re still relevant, the Oscars are undeniably the biggest event in the Hollywood calendar. I am fascinated by them, what intrigues me most is the general consensus that this process is a game of strategy and if you want to win, you have to know the rules. But actors and directors don’t have time to work this out for themselves, they’re far too busy and important. I however am not.
Therefore I have poured over lists of Oscar winners for more time than is healthy in order to determine exactly what it takes to win one of these much desired awards. I’m going to give you the tried and tested formulai for how to win Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Picture.
