MPM2 Wonderdul film
ushadhanawade7 December 2016
Satish Rajwade directed this movie from the girl's perspective (as he did for MPM) and did show the confusion of the girl about to get married. Gauri is the girl who is always practical and mature, but gets confused when it comes to committing a marriage for life. The funny moments comes due to the distinct cultural, environmental and personal difference between the people of Mumbai and Pune. This is the story of Gauri and Gautam and their respective families. This is the story of a father who always stands by his daughter, even if she takes a wrong decision. This is the story of the modern families and their importance in the life of today's youth. This is the story of a marriage which is between 2 cities, 2 cultures, 2 individuals and 2 mentalities. This is the story of changing and maturing your ideas and views to live a happy life together with open mind.

Once again the magic is recreated through Mumbai Pune Mumbai 2...!! Worth watching The Story line is really different and very well played by all actors...!!! The Story is continuation of the 1st part only the names are not same as before. Very well played by the SRK of Marathi Industry none other than Swapnil Joshi and Mukta Barve is just great..!! Once again Satish Rajwade has very well directed and perfectly captured. Overall the Film is Excellent and Worth Watching. Some love stories never have a happy ending, but that's only because they never end! Come along to witness the love story that became a hit in 2010! Now Creating the Magic once again.

Confused director with confused story line

Warning: Spoilers
After the first movie of mumbai pune mumbai , you go into this with high expectations. Mukta Barve and Swapnil Joshi have had a great chemistry, but unfortunately this movie fails to bring it out. Director wanted to handle too many subjects in one go, and has failed miserably. He should have spent more time on depicting problems between two leads. If you want to bring ex-boyfriend , please make sure to show some sparks, or something which is really troubling Mukta Barve. Her acting is superb , but her character's feeling are shallow. Viewer nowhere connects with the story this time around. Swapnil Joshi also gives a very good performance. Director has wasted Prashant Damle and Suhas Joshi , two stalwarts of current Marathi industry.

Overall , this movie is neither comedy , nor emotional melodrama, it does not succeed in holding viewers together. I am giving two stars just because of acting, nothing else.

Quality of this movie is much worse compared to its predecessor. Excessive emotional drama has spoiled the movie.

Bad Storyline and A bit sexist

First of all, the storyline of this movie is pure trash. Just same old, masala drama love triangle NOTHING NEW!! Also, I think Gauri mistake in this movie is to marry Gautam, who is pure trash. He is SOO Annoying, taunts her, yells at her, ignores her feelings, and does not give her time. But, thanks to this movie now I know what kind of man to not marry. And Gauri acts like a weak woman. She lets the wedding preparations go on and wastes money and hurt the feeling of everyone. She should have just told her parents in the beginning, and not been so shy and weak about a "sensitive" , according to the mom in the movie, topic like marriage.*rolls eyes* Also, one line in the movie really made me enraged it was saying that "she cooked what she liked now, watched what she liked, and could get up when she wanted, but now that she is married she won't be able to do that anymore." and sits there crying like a complete loser. I mean what is the director trying to say that woman should just became a slave and not do anything they want but everything their husband wants. WHAT NONSENSE. They try to show feminism in the wrong way. They think drinking vodka and going to bars is feminism, but then they have a regressive dialogue like this. Why should woman not have freedom after they get married?? Marriage should be equal.
