FTWD Resurrects!
sdamartins5 September 2016
I was starting to loose faith in this series. First Season was great but this one was looking a little bit out of touch with the origins of FTWD... But this episode changed it all. The final moments were perfectly edited and created a dramatic suspense that got me glued to the screen. Technically speaking it was a really good episode and the characters are getting really well built! The relationship (or lack of it) between Travis and Chris is, for me, the main source of interest on the plot right now, but there are so many questions left, like: Where's Ofelia? I loved the show's cinematography during season 1 and although season 2 is a little different it still is really well filmed and on this episode we had some of the best shots of the season. Great show. Can't wait for next week.

Maybe the Best Episode
claudio_carvalho22 September 2016
Travis is walking with Chris and they find a car. While Travis fix the car, Chris goes to a restaurant to scavenge water and supplies. He overhears voices, finds a can of beans and water and kills a zombie, saving the life of a young man. Then he runs to the car and he flees with Travis. When they run out of gas, they decide to spend the night in the wilderness. During the night, three young men arrive and invite Chris and Travis to eat with them. On the next morning, Chris and Travis travel with the group to the next town; however Chris sees a farm and they stop to seek supplies. Travis suggests Chris to stay with him in the farm but he refuses. Then something happens. Meanwhile Alicia can not find Ofelia but meets Elena, a former employee of the hotel that locked dozens of guests in a room with infected to save the other guests in the hotel. She is seeking out her nephew Hector and teams up with Alicia to find Ofelia, Hector, Madison and Strand.

"Do Not Disturb" is maybe the best episode of "Fear the Walking Dead". The annoying Travis and Chris are back and their segment is dramatic and not bad. Now Travis has finally seem who is son is. The segment with Alicia and Elena is full of action, but needs an explanation how Madison and Strand escape from the besiegement of zombies. My vote is seven.

The Perfect treat
spider_riz3 December 2016
Wow , Being a let down this season, this episode was the best and I really enjoyed it from start till the end. Everything was just perfect. Combination of different soundtracks and right kind of music at the right time just added more flavor and suspense to the drama of this episode.

Acting was great and Hotel lady Elena and her past story was just bloody and that is what i liked the most in this episode. I am sure she would make a great additional character to this series.

Suspense and tense scenes kept me on the edge of my seat till the very end. This is how it should be . Cannot wait for the next episode

Overall I would give this episode a 9 out of 10. This was the best episode so far. :)

Decent Episode
nomis945 September 2016
I really enjoyed this episode. Travis and Chris are back and I liked their scenes. The new group they met is a bunch of young guys and I'm interested in how everything will develop. I like Travis as a character, he is the so-called "good guy" and I enjoy that. His idea to start a new life on a mountain etc. is very smart. Chris' development is a little bit frightening, but also consistent.

Back at the hotel, plenty of action is going on. Elena is a nice addition to the show and her past is truly bloody. The interactions between her and badass Alicia are really cool and their story arc was the most exciting in this episode.

I can't wait for next week's episode. I wonder if there will be a reunion later on. Now AMC needs to show us how the heck Madison and Strand escaped their dire situation.

Chris is a Villain
panagiotis199317 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Really glad to see Travis and Chris are back. I like that Travis stays positive. It seems like the guys Travis and Chris met are not a threat, I hope im right. Where the hell is Ofelia? We get introduced to a new (female) character, her story is interesting. Well this was a nice episode, but no Nick, no Ofelia, no Victor, no Madison? Come on... at least Victor and Madison should have been there. The previous episode had a huge cliffhanger with them surrounded by zombies, I wanted to see more Madison and Victor, like how they escaped and stuff. All we got was a dozen of new characters. Travis was right it's this guy's land, just have some respect and leave. Did Chris just kill that dude? Damn Chris is the villain! I really enjoyed this episode though. My rating is 8/10.

How can be someone as disgusting as chris. The ugly annoying boy.

The story become more interesting in victor and maddy side . At least we can see some zombie moves.

I hope to see less about Travis and his digusting stupid son.

I Hate Chris
meltingmel18 April 2023
Travis and his ex-wife were such good people. How did they birth a total serial killer? I hate his smirk. I hate his face. It sucks because I used to love Chris's face. At the beginning. I enjoy the part that shows people's true colors when the apocalypse happens.

I'm on my second ever rewatch of TWD and FTWD. I actually never finished TWD after the big incident in Season 7 - so I stopped halfway through 7. And FTWD... I'm not even sure I finished season 2. I guess I did. It wasn't memorable enough.

I just don't understand the crappy writing. And some of the actors are pretty poor actors - I'm really surprised they were cast. Right now I can tolerate Nick, Alicia, and Travis - and that's it. I could care less if anyone else died. In fact - I might only care about Alicia not dying - on account that she was bad*** as Lexa in the 100. And Alicia's decision making in this series isn't as poor as everyone else's.

All in all - I'm really struggling to continue on this rewatch. I promised myself I would finish out the TWD world though, and now that the shows are finishing up... here I go. I just hope it's not a horrible waste of time as I move forward. I really hope it gets somewhat better. Maybe after Chris dies. And maybe Madison.

"Do Not Disturb" explores the concepts of trust, betrayal, and the lengths people will go to protect themselves and their loved ones
fernandoschiavi12 April 2024
In the hotel, Alicia manages to escape the walkers on her floor, and meets Elena, the hotel manager, who agrees to help her find Madison and Strand. They reach the ground floor of the hotel, where they are confronted by the surviving hotel guests. They demand Elena's keys in return for safe passage and her nephew. Elena complies, but they are pursued by the infected. Alicia and Elena take shelter in a locked room, where they reunite with Madison and Strand.

Meanwhile, Travis and Chris travel the Mexican countryside where the two survive own their own until they come across a group whom Chris had stolen from before. That group decides to spare them and recruit them. Chris takes a liking to them, but Travis does not trust them. The next day, they stop at a farm to scavenge supplies and are confronted by the farmer who lives there. The farmer shoots one of the tourists in the leg, prompting Chris to shoot and kill the farmer, much to Travis' horror.

"Do Not Disturb," is a tense and emotionally charged episode that explores the dark and often brutal realities of survival in a post-apocalyptic world. The episode primarily focuses on the characters of Madison, Strand, and Alicia as they navigate a luxurious but dangerous hotel overrun by the undead.

The episode's standout feature is its intense and suspenseful atmosphere, which is enhanced by the claustrophobic setting of the hotel. The tension is palpable as the characters are forced to confront not only the hordes of walkers but also their own inner demons and moral dilemmas. This episode also delves deeper into the characters' backstories and motivations, adding layers of complexity to their already well-developed personalities.

Thematically, "Do Not Disturb" explores the concepts of trust, betrayal, and the lengths people will go to protect themselves and their loved ones. The hotel setting serves as a microcosm of society, highlighting the ways in which people can be both compassionate and ruthless in the face of adversity. The episode's conclusion, which sees Madison and Strand making difficult decisions to ensure their survival, reinforces the show's overarching theme of the loss of innocence and the brutal nature of the new world.
