One of Manny Velazquez's better films; it's still terrible

Warning: Spoilers
PSYCHEDELIA is the best film I've seen thus far from indie horror director Manny Velazquez, although given the quality of the majority of his output that isn't saying much. The plot is a bit of nonsense about a writer returning from the dead to get revenge on those who plagiarised him, and refreshingly this was shot in daylight in an extensive office/school complex. There's not much to it really, but at least it partially resembles a proper movie.

Bouncy Bouncy THUD

The story bounces around in time a LOT at the beginning of the film, which is minorly intriguing and majorly annoying. But I stuck with it until the time thing resolved. Sadly, there is much less to it than you would hope. But the story is at least better than the acting, or the actors. It does not help at all that both of the main characters sound like they have the mumps and look like they were involved in head-on collisions. But are the actors better than the cinematography or the lighting? Well, no. No they are not. But they are *slightly* better than the Foley effects and sound editing, if that helps. ISTG I think somebody was getting a dollar every time that tinny "whoosh" sound played.
